Hillside Resort Cabin #10

Phelps Hillside Resort is proud to offer Cabin 10. Newly renovated! Our guests love this spacious 3 bedroom 1.5 bath cabin. Cabin 10 will sleep 8 people. Bedroom 1 offers a queen bed, bedroom 2 offers a queen bed and a single bed and bedroom 3 offers a bunkbed.(single over a full) Bring your own boat or inquire about our pontoon or fishing boat rentals.



Private boat ramp for guest use only at no charge.

Boat slips included at no charge.

The shoreline along Hillside resort is sand/gravel which is great for swimming. We also have a sand beach with toys. Many different kayaks and paddleboards are available for our guests to use at no cost. Life jackets are required and can be found in the shed by the beach!

There are some boat lifts available on a first-come, first-serve basis.



Lac Vieux Desert is home of the world record Tiger Musky and every year the lake gives up several trophy fish. The lake also has phenomenal pan fishing including Bluegill, Jumbo Perch, and Crappie. Bass fishing is world class with many fish over 5lbs and 21`. Walleye fishing was very difficult for years, but with the help of local stocking efforts and the DNR size limit regulations, the population is very healthy currently and can be found all over the lake. The lake has many special regulations, being a border lake with Michigan and special walleye regulations. Please inform yourself about these before fishing.



Lac Vieux Desert is among the largest inland lakes in northern WI at 4260 acres. The waves can be overwhelming for some crafts. When tying up to docks, we encourage boaters to point their bow of the boat out towards the lake, so waves don`t crash over the transom.


We are dog friendly and allow up to two well-mannered dogs per cabin. There is a fee of $25 per night per pet.
*Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and for any damages caused during their stay. Hillside Resort is not liable for any actions or behavior of the pets.*

Power is available on cabins near docks. Bring your own extension cords.

Premium no-ethanol fuel available on-site.

Inquire about pontoon or fishing boat rental.

Garbage bags, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, linens and pillows, shampoo, conditioner, body soap all included. Please bring your own towels!



Each unit comes with a fridge/freezer, range/oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and cooking utensils. Plates, bowls, cutlery, forks, spoons all included. Bring your own coffee.



All 11 units have recently been renovated and updated. Air conditioning was also added.



On site, there is the legendary Hillside Restaurant which is one of the best Northwoods supper clubs! The restaurant is open year-round, days and hours vary by season. Be sure to call or check their social media for hours.
