Comfortable stay in updated home

House is as advertised. Easy to communicate with management, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood and great location near Old Town Scottsdale. Would recommend a couple more chairs for the pool and the place is due for a deep clean. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as advertised. We enjoyed sitting by the pool although the water hadn't warmed up yet, which we knew going it might be the case. We would stay here again.

Perfect for a party of 4

Cactus house was a great choice, clean, good location and in line with listing. The only constructive criticism I would have is that relative to the size of the property and listing to claim could sleep up to 10 people some offerings are not a match. Prime example, both kitchen chairs and pool furniture is set up for a party of four…Other than that, it’s a great choice

President's Day weekend

Really enjoyed our stay at the Cactus House! The accommodations were exactly as listed, and plenty of room for our party of 6. The neighborhood was very nice, quiet. We were not able to use the pool because of the temperature of the air/water, however it was a very nice pool and we enjoyed relaxing on the pool deck. Would love to stay there again should our travels bring us to Scottsdale.

Overall it was good, but need to improve

Nice and clean house. Great location.Provided us with wrong code to check in so it took time and we were out for an hour after a flight, this wasn’t good experience. Pool was cold (we had friends and family staying in other houses in the area and they had heated pool at no extra cost) . Other than that it was nice!!

Needs a good cleaning

Lots of dust piles, dusty lampshades, dirty glasses and dishes in the cupboards, dirty walls and base boards. Owners/property managers looking in windows after we arrived. No pool accessories, no outdoor grill. Good neighborhood, would never stay here again!

Spring Training & Then Some

The hubs and I left Kansas in 5 degree temps (-21 wind chill) to arrive in sunny Arizona. No wind. Wonderful temps and so much sun. AhhhhhThe Cactus House was perfect! Great location. Beautiful home and amenities. Well appointed and stocked with all we would need/want. We spent a good deal of time out on the patio, reading and simply chilling. I cannot recommend that more!The home is very well put together and comfortable. There was nothing we would change. The pics and description were spot on. No surprises. The mgmt company/contacts were more than amazing. Very quick to answer any questions we had. We've rented numerous VRBO homes. This mgmt company (GoodNight Stay) was far beyond any expectations we've had. We'll certainly seek them out for future VRBO links. We'll be back - hopefully sooner than later! Check it out!

its okay

Little disappointed..But good things first - location is super, really 5 min from everything yet in super quiet neighborhood. Bed and sheets are comfortable.Upon arrival found a side door to the house wide open. Instructions listed on the app for the key were incorrect, code did not worked, but customer service responded fairly quickly with another code. Bedroom window was open and impossible to shut - spent more time than i would like to msg back and forth with customer service trying their advices with no luck, eventually with force of 2 people we managed to shut that window, getting all dirty in the process as window area was very dusty inside the room.We rented this house to be able to sunbath by the pool, coming from cold state that was supposed to be our little treat, but there was only one lounge bed and another one broken in the corner - contacted the service again, they promised to bring another one and never did and that was very disappointing special for the price.

Cactus House Getaway

Neighborhood very nice,quiet & location was great.The kitchen appliances were wonderful, but only 3 small pans to cook with and 2 pyrex baking pans. Plenty of regular dishes & silverware. In one kitchen draw was a pile of other peoples mail, some from Mayo Clinic, this should of been taken out of the house for their privacy. Mini refig didn't work, we sent you pics of the temp and error code and no response from you. Pictures on the website showed a fire pit and TV on the outside patio area, they are not there. We sent photos again per your request of the info in the 3 ring welcome book on the kitchen table talking about these two items and you did not reply back of us. We would never rent a house with only one TV. The master bedroom closet is huge, but had no clothing rod or shelves in it, just a portable laundry rack on wheels, that was unstable. We emailed you about this and a man showed up with hangers, which was helpful, but still the rack felt unstable. This closet needs to be finished.The second bedroom with the king bed has a glass patio door leading to the pool area. The door lock is broke. For safety please check into that. The house was very dusty, the top of the living room lamps and dust rolls under the master bed and all of the closet floors. This was very noticable. The floor was dirty the bottoms of our feet and socks would be black in a very short time. The pool maintenance person came and put the vacuum in but never returned to remove it. More towels needed

The house was wonderful, but I didn’t see that I had to request pool heating a week in advance and pay extra for it until I received my check in instructions the day before. The additional information required by good night stay was confusing, and apparently didn’t work the first time I entered it, and I never got a confirmation it was received so I just had to hope my reservation was still good.
