Moses Casita is nestled under the South Mountains of Phoenix. Our pet friendly Ahwatukee home offers mountain views and is two blocks from desert trails for a morning stroll, a day hike, or mountain biking. Enjoy nearby golfing, restaurants, and outlet stores. The home is just minutes from Phoenix area freeways making it a quick trip to an ASU game, attend events in Tempe, theater performances, museums, art venues, casinos and shopping across the Valley of the Sun. Scenic drives are found in any direction...Sedona (2.5 hours), Payson (1.5 hours) , Globe (1.5 hours), Fountain Hills (45 min), Saguaro Lake/Salt River (1 hour) and Tucson (1.5 hours) . There is so much to see and do in the Valley and the surrounding area!! We welcome winter visitors, ASU families, travelling nurses, stays for business, vacation, visits with family and friends and special events. Whether you plan a short or long stay, we strive to make Moses Casita a comfortable place to call home while you are visiting the Valley of the Sun.

Our home is in a quiet neighborhood just two blocks from South Mountain Preserve, which provides peace and quiet from city sounds and sights. The home is in walking (or biking) distance from Desert Classic Trail (bikes, hikes, horses) and Western Star Park (our personal favorite for the view of the mountains and sunsets).

Moses Casita offers 1600 square feet featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, family room and living area. The master bedroom includes a queen bed, walk-in closet and bathroom with shower. Three additional bedrooms have queen beds and a shared bathroom with tub/shower. The kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave, coffee maker, cookware, supplies for food preparation, a dining table for 6 and counter eating for 2. There is a full-sized washer and dryer for your use.

Two comfortable living areas provide space for relaxing or socializing. The family room is equipped with a 55” UHD Smart TV. The living room includes a sitting area and desk. WIFI is provided so you can use your lap top and personal devices. The fenced yard includes a covered patio with a propane grill, flagstone patio and sitting areas for dining and relaxing with mountain views and Arizona sunsets.

Outstanding Ahwatukee Stay

Great location (for us at least). Exactly as described and were able to have our 2 cats with us, and host a small family get together...not many places allow that, so super stoked that we found this place and it was just perfect! Super easy checkin and excellent comms with owner. Extremely well apportioned, even had a "welcoming gift" with a bag of chips and salsa and a new bag of coffee. Just don't find them like this very often. Had excellent TV options as well with cable, HBO and MAX channels to choose from. Really really impressed! Will definitely stay again!

Phenomenal visit

I’ve rented 6-8 times, all very nice but one. This one was far and above the VERY best ever!!! Excellent location- to my daughter, grocery, airport, other amenities. Perfect, perfect house for our pets, comfy beds, excellent kitchen, just overall warm, welcoming and comfortable. Very responsive hosts to my questions, but NEVER needed to reach out during the stay as absolutely NO problems. I only hope they’ll have me back again in the future!!!!

The house was easy to find and get into. We were greeted with bottled water, chips and salsa. Nice touch! Loved sitting out back and TV was easy to use. Would definitely rent again and recommend for anyone considering this house.

Ahwatukee Family Tune

The property is in an excellent location for a variety of interests. Close to restaurants, shopping, and in a great location to get around Phoenix. The house is perfect for family gatherings and with different age ranges, there was something for everyone. Hiking trails are very close and February is the best time to hike the mountains in Phoenix. Spring training started mid February, and other family decided to come and visit from multiple states. Nights were great for cooking dinner, watching the sunset over South Mountains, and stargazing. Perfect.

The house was clean and in a convenient neighborhood. Overall it is quite dated and in need of a refresh. The kitchen and bathrooms in particular. For example, the dishwasher is very old and challenging to use. The fourth bedroom is in the garage. The host had to be reminded to send check-in information. Overall a decent place for the price point.

very convenient, 10 min from airport, very quiet neighborhood, close to a hiking trail in the mountains (5 min walk). Pet friendly location, we may bring the dog next time. Fabulous Thai restaurant close by and all sorts of things to do.

Family gathering

This property was perfect for our gathering. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and sharing meals with family. It's a quiet friendly neighborhood with a wonderful backyard for enjoying the weather and family. It's close to trailheads which we enjoyed hiking each morning. The bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. The living room was furnished with very comfortable furniture. I would definitely stay here again.

Fine for what we needed it for

The house was just fine for what we needed it for. Owners were very responsive and receptive to texts. Went out of her way to add specific creamer for our group for our morning coffees. Had a few maintenance issues but owner was quick to take care of. 4th bedroom was quite odd and in an odd location but if you just need a 4th room for sleeping it does the trick. Was actually the quietest room in the house. The other three rooms next to each other you can hear everything, paper thin walls. House is fully stocked with plates, cups etc. however nothing else so if your looking for spices or things like that that some places have this one doesn’t yet, likely as it’s new to VRBO I assume.

Great rental for a short or long visit

The house was very clean - with a great kitchen and fenced in yard (wish we would have had more time to enjoy it). The beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Sorry it isn't available for our next trip to Phoenix.
