I was quite happy upon arrival. Unfortunately, I paid for a Jacuzzi room and the Jacuzzi was not working according to the maintenance man, he fixes it three times a week. Due to not being able to use it I was given a free stay. However, my room was not free. My bank went ahead and charged me and not only that I also got another charge for the same day at the same hotel! When I tried to rectify it with a manager, they were very nice and got the original $140 taken off. However, there was the matter of the overcharge of about the same amount. unfortunately, the second manager, I talked to was beyond unhelpful and argumentative. he was actually the person who told me he was going to give me the free stay. When I called back to talk to him and ask him to get the name of the regional manager, he hung up on me! I can prove all I say by my phone records and my banking statements. This is not OK. The hotel was clean, it had a free breakfast and free dinner options, a pool, a hot tub, and if my Jacuzzi room had worked, it would’ve been great. except if I have to go into a place and have a mistake be made like a double charge after being told I would have no charge and being respectful about it and having the person I have to deal with in person and on the phone being rude, then forget it. no matter what happened. There’s no excuse for hanging up on me.
