Wonderful stay at Villa Makena! A few issues came up during our stay and Gus was outstanding at quick response and resolving the issues immediately, made for a great stay, best vrbo stay we have had! The outdoor set up was so fun, three families staying at the house and kept all ages having fun and hanging out in the backyard with plenty to do.

A fantastic property - no reason to leave your backyard! The layout of the house is perfect for an adult getaway. Adequate bedrooms and bathrooms for all, within a beautifully decorated home. The pickleball court is a big hit, and a super grilling and outdoor eating space. We loved our stay!

Church Retreat 2025

We had an amazing experience. We had 20 people from our church stay for the weekend. We spent HOURS enjoying the pickleball court! We also enjoyed the heated pool and putting green. There was plenty of space in the bedrooms, though we did have to get pretty close to fit all of us! Gus was also super helpful annd very responsive to messages. Overall, we had an amazing time, and I would highly consider going back!

Imagine a gals getaway weekend to celebrate a besties birthday… pickleball, pool, tasty beverages, yes please! We arrived promptly at check-in and were giddy to spend the next few days in this little slice of pickleball heaven. In between games and merriment during the hot summer hours, we cooled off in the pool. Gus was helpful, friendly, and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We will definitely stay here again when time and opportunity presents itself.

This was the perfect property for our family. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, which makes getting ready for the day and cleaning up after the adventures seamless. The outdoor and indoor living space fit all six of us perfectly we always had something to do, even in our downtime when we were not out and about. The location is perfectly situated to get to restaurants, shopping and daily adventures. Very centrally located. The neighborhood was safe to walk through morning and night. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Arizona!

A+ on the beds! Kitchen lacking….only 10 forks, 6 coffee cups, 6 tall glasses. It was hard to cook for 12 BarBQue was too dirty to use until we cleaned it Showers in master and queen bedrooms were very slow to drain Backyard was fabulous!! We especially loved the pickleball court. It was a perfect place for our family, except for the kitchen!
