La grande chambre. Grande piscine. Il y avait les besoins de quelqu’un dans la toilette et des fourmis mortes. On devait avoir un ventilateur il n’y en avait pas on nous en a apporter un tout sale on a dû lui demander de le nettoyer. Des aimis ont réservé à travers une autre compagnie et c’était propre.est-ce qu’il n’aurait pas reçu ma demande.......

Has great potential but needs work

This place should be a buzzing back packer haven. Nice bungalows and a good looking restaurant, plus a pool. But the organisation just isnt quite there to make it what it could be. Les is lovely and caring, but not always on top of things, and doesnt quite have the energy to run this place as well as it could be. The bar is rarely stocked, the food is poor and so the vibe is one of slight disappointment. That said, it's not a bad place at all, - its fine, it just doesnt live up to its potential. Turn on the music, serve some good food, fix the wrecked pool table and this would be a lovely place to hang out. It's about a ten minute walk to a nice beach but really you need to hire a scooter to be here.

Schöne Anlage, leider etwas vernachlässigt

Wir suchten einen Platz über Sylvester abseits von der Touristenmeile in Duong Dong/Phu Quoc und haben dieses eigentlich sehr hübsche Resort gefunden. Mieteten einen halben Steinbungalow, der mit Doppelbett + 1 Einzelbett je mit Moskitonetz eingerichtet war. Dazu AC, die aber nur auf einer Stellung lief eine kleine Terasse und ein schönes Aussenbad. Man konnte unterhalb im Gemeinschaftsbereich etwas zu essen bestellen, einfache Küche. Zum Frühstück auch: einfaches Angebot, ein Omelette, ein Pancake, ein Bratreis - bzw. -nudeln. Kaffee oder Tee. Keine Früchte! einzig einen Pasionsfruchtsaft konnte man zusätzlich bestellen. Unser Eindruck: Eine schöne Anlage, aber langsam am vernachlässigt...ungepflegt, auch die Pflanzen, hier und dort fällt eine Leuchte aus und keinen schert es. Wie jemand schrieb: a long way to go! Die Leute nett und grundsätzlich hilfsbereit. Zu beachten ist, dass die Anlage nur über eine staubige, sehr holprige Sandpiste zu erreichen ist!

very friendly staff, but it's on the end of a sandroad... Still worth it to go to. Pool is nice aswell. They rent scooters for a cheap price. close to the beautifull beach of Mango bay.

Close to nature

I really liked my stay at ThuyHouse resort. I stayed in a dormatory and it almost felt like I was camping. If you want to stay in a luxury hotel, this might not be the best place for you. However, if you are a looking for a calm place to relax and meet other backpackers, this place is the best. The staff is really nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions and they can recommand places to see on the island. They can book tours for you and they can provide a taxi service (with a small fee).

Jungle Hideaway

Thus and her lovely family were so welcoming and me us feel absolutely at home. We would buy food at the markets and she would show us how to cook it. She was always eager to cook for us anytime of the day. We played darts and billiards with her and her lovely husband Les and often played with their perfect new son, Tommy Lee... The most cheerful sweet handsome baby you could imagine. The only thing I think it's important to mention is that Thuys new place isn't actually on the beach. It's in a lovely secluded area about a kilometer away through the jungle. Also the place is very quiet with no nightlife or tourist stuff. The restaurant at the end of the jungle walk had amazing food at real vietnamese prices... like 7 dollars for a whole table of food!!! Thuys is a quiet place to get away from it all and if you rent a scooter or have a car, it's only 4 kilometers to the city. My girlfriend and I loved staying there and would do so again.

Härlig vistelse på Thuy House

Thuys house är perfekt för dig som vill bo lite avskilt för maximal avkoppling! Vi bodde i en bungalow med AC och var väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse. Hotellet ligger en 10 min promenad genom djungeln ner till en utav Phu Quocs finaste stränder! Ägarna var superhärliga och behjälpliga med det mesta. Perfekt ställe att bo på om man vill umgås med andra backpackers. Tänk på att det ligger en bra bit från Long beach och nattmarknaden. Det finns ingen kollektivtrafik på ön, så för att ta sig in till stan behöver man hyra moppe eller ta taxi.

Un écrin de verdure

Cet hotel niché au milieu d'une forêt avec un jardin magnifique vous invite au farniente. Belle piscine. L'accueil est excellent et les propriétaires font leur possible pour vous satisfaire.. Belle chambre avec terrasse et grande salle de bains originale.
