Disappointed

Not 3 star .. the water for the room ran out each day . No shower , toilet . Light at the stairwell was not working No lift in the building. The room was clean but very dated. Close to the beach a plus .

Problems I had here: room didn't have toilet paper, all electrical in the room died on the third night and I had to change rooms, the base rate for the room is for 2 guests but when you bring the second guest they charge you an extra 300 baht per night even though the policy on Expedia says the rate is for two guests. I would not stay here again.

first of all, how did this place get any stars? We arrived after driving up from the airport only to be told that there would be no water because all of Phuket was out due to a mains pipe burst (funny that no one else is affected) We arrived and as I parked the car my GF booked us in. We got a room on the 4th floor and as she completed booking in the owner asked her "who is helping you carry that suitcase up?" And toddled off. There is no lift so she dragged 20kgs of stuff up 4 flights of stairs only to find a room that stank and electricity that only works by shoving a block of wood attached to the key into a hole in the wall Indiana Jones style. By the time I got up there my GF was on her way down to collect our passports. When she rang him (the owner we assume), because there was 2 ladies at main desk very busy on their phones, she got told she'd have to wait as he was on lunch. We were there for 23 minutes and decided sleeping in the car might be a better solution. As we told him we were checking out we were offered a room with a balcony..but no thanks bud, you didn't have time for us before. We could have dealt with the smell. the "trapdoor" electricity supply.. lack of water, 4 flights of stairs and no lift but the part that genuinely bugged both of us was the complete lack of hospitality the owner and staff showed us. I've stayed in some absolute dives but even in the worst of places you would expect that a person whose career is in hospitality would show some care

I would stay clear of this one.

Unfortunately I did not stay at this hotel. I checked in was taken to my room and within 10 minutes I had a overwhelming headache from some sort of chemical smell in the room. I was told the aircon needed to run but after 10 minutes I booked a new room at a location I was very familiar with. They did offer me a new room but I was already physically unhappy. So I declined and I believe after contacting Hotels.com I was only refunded 2 of my 5 night stay. Also the hotel was difficult to find as the location on the hotels.com website is no where near the actual location. And the sign on the small guesthouse was difficult to notice. I personally would not suggest staying here. There are so many places in Patong to stay for only a few $ more you will have a clean and secure room.
