The Best Service, Treated Like Royalty

Outstanding stay. Great hotel in a fantastic location on the beach front. The staff, all of them, were anazing. Never been treated so well. Breakfast was a la carte but you could order what you liked and as much as you like. We had an evening meal there too was superb and setting was romantic by night. Rooms were lovely and had all you needed included toiletries, iron and ironing board, fridge and 4 bottles of water daily. Water machines are available in the hotel too. No hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay.

Pleasant experience

Very friendly staff and the room was clean and quiet. The breakfasts were good as well. The location is really nice especially if you want to surf. Its right next to a surf school on the beach.

Rooms were good,staff great breakfast excellent and food good when eating in hotel,unfortunately for us and not hotels fought the weather was awful and there was oil or something on beach which took alot to get off my feetbut on the whole we still had a good stay...Thank you. .

All the staff at The Boathouse were so helpful and polite. The hotel was just what we wanted. Somewhere to relax, right on the beach but also convenient to shops, bars and plenty of restaurants. Our 2 weeks went so quickly which to me a sign of a great holiday.

This boutique hotel was absolutely amazing! The breakfast was 10/10, the staff were all so attentive and helpful, the beds were extremely comfortable and the views of the beach from everywhere just topped off a perfect holiday. We loved have a few restaurants on the beach next door to the property and we enjoyed having the shops and restaurants along the main road at the hotel entrance. We will be back!

Fantastic boutique hotel - right on the beach. Staff exceptional particularly the manager & reception team in our case could not have been more helpful and attentive. Loved our 4 nights here 9and we moved from another hotel). Kata was a lot busier than I expected but the hotel is a lovely little sanctuary. Breakfast overlooking the bay was amazing. We had dinner one evening which was nice but quite pricey. If we go back to Phuket we will stay at this hotel.

The hotel located on the best part of Kata beach, it was clean, well maintained, friendly staff. The bed are comfortable however the pillows were stiff. The breakfast was a la carte menu. the food choices were limited and we couldn’t get a proper cappuccino as much as we tried. We loved the fact that there was no smoking in the pool or dining area. The area outside the hotel was rundown and not much to do. However the beach was great and we could not fault the hotel. Would recommend staying here.

The property is under lot of renovation, and wasnt communicated with us prior to the visit. It was noisy during the day even by the pool side, construction all the time. Outside elevator hall also under construction, quite dangerous for guest to walk through. Inside room many thing broken, hair dryer was not working, there are no toilet paper in thr room. Overall not good experience.

Amazing boutique resort

As we prepare to check out, we feel it’s only right to share our thoughts on this wonderful resort. We booked two beach suites for 11 days and, before making our decision, conducted extensive research on over 20 different resorts across Phuket. Our needs were simple: a beachfront resort with direct beach access, located in an area where we could walk around and explore. The Boathouse ticked all the boxes, and we are extremely pleased with our choice. What truly sets this resort apart is the exceptional service. Every single member of the staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable and well looked after. While we’re tempted to name specific individuals, we’re equally afraid of leaving someone out — so we’ll simply say: thank you to the entire team and management. You all deserve praise for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Kata Beach, where the resort is located, is perfect for those seeking a quieter, more relaxed environment. It’s not a party scene, but it offers plenty of restaurants, shops, and charming spots to wander around. Since we stayed in April, the heat was quite intense most of the time — but with the beach just steps away and the pool within reach, a refreshing dip was always available. A few things to note: the beach is public, but sunbeds can be rented. There are also three restaurants right on the beach just outside the hotel, as well as a great beachfront bar/restaurant that stays open late.

The Boathouse Hotel on Kata Beach, is a wonderful place to unwind. The location is ideal, with the beach just a stone’s throw away. The bedroom was not only spacious but also impeccably clean and remarkably quiet, ensuring a peaceful night’s rest. The daily room cleaning service was a welcome touch, ensuring our comfort was a top priority. However, while the physical aspects of the hotel were impressive, it did feel like it lacked a certain charm or “soul.” The management could elevate the guest experience by paying attention to the finer details that can truly make a difference in a hotel stay. It’s often the small touches that set exceptional hotels apart from the rest. These nuances are vital for creating a memorable experience for guests. What truly stood out during my stay was the incredible staff. They were not only friendly but genuinely caring and devoted to ensuring my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile were remarkable and left a lasting impression.

Stunning boutique hotel that does everything right

The Boathouse is located at the end of Kata Beach, and is one of the few hotels with private beachfront in Kata, with both restaurant and pool areas immediately on the beach. Kata Beach is beautiful, and less busy than Patong and Karon, highly recommended for families and for a bit less buster than some other locations, while maintaining a great selection of restaurants and other activities. There are some seafood restaurants 50 metres of walking on the beach that offer excellent dining options, as well as a Ska bar for some relaxed drinks or more. The property is excellently maintained, with rooms and facilities in great condition. The design is beautiful, and it is a proper smallish to medium boutique hotel. The pool areas are very nice with ample sunbeds and great service from the pool staff. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows, clever storage solutions and quiet air condition. The breakfast is a la carte with broad selection of western and thai options, and the food is high quality. The restaurant is also great for both lunch and dinner, with a nice sea breeze and view of the beach, and excellent food. The staff is friendly, helpful and service minded, and we felt well taken care of at all times. They really walk the extra mile. We have stayed in many hotels around the world, and several different locations in Thailand, and The Boathouse is a gem, highly recommended and great value. We will be back! (We stayed 12 nights)

Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich sehr nett gemacht, Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Essen wirklich sehr gut. Es gibt ein ala Card Frühstück, sehr lecker, tolle Auswahl und man kann sie viel bestellen wie man möchte. Mittag und Abendessen auch sehr gut, aber natürlich Preise eher gehoben. Lage ist auch gut, toller Blick über den Strand. Jedoch sehr viele Surfer. Am Pool waren immer Liegen frei und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Wir waren 3 Tage in der Vorsession. 99% der Urlauber in Phuket sind aus Russland, demnach ist auch alles auf sie ausgelegt.

Excellent service, modern amenities, friendly staff. The restaurant had good food and great views of Kata Beach. Gym on the premises was small but totally adequate for a workout. Kata Beach is very popular so don’t go to that area if you’re looking for something more secluded!
