“Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was very cute and unique—it felt like staying in a large historic house that had been converted into a hotel, which gave it a lot of character. Everything was clean, and we had no major issues. The only downside was that our room was on one of the upper floors, and there was no elevator. Carrying luggage up several flights of stairs was quite difficult. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.”

“This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table.……

Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. We highly recommend booking a stay at the Carr Mansion for a relaxing trip with a home-like feel that typical hotels just can’t match. We will……
