“Nice property but older. Rooms were ok, comfortable beds and great view of the ocean. No safe in room, which would be a benefit, but overall comfortable.”

“Staff was helpful and sweet and breakfast was good, but the hotel itself needed a serious upgrade. Carpet was old and torn. Beds were uncomfortable and neighbors were loud.”

“We had a late check in around 10pm, the staff is so friendly once we walked in the hotel. This Hampton has rated the best Hampton in the nation for the past 5 years and I totally agree with the rating. The room is clean and big, the morning breakfast area is very comfortable (the food are ok). Basically it's a great hotel. The only 2 downsides are: (1) sound proof not too good (2) the pool is really tiny But it is a great stay, except for the price is a little high (we paide US$220 per night)”

“It is my second time staying in the Surfside Beach hotel. Love the location! Hotel is awesome with amazing view. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurants nearby.”

“Very disappointing stay. The hotel was run-down and did not feel well maintained. On top of that, the staff we interacted with were rude and unhelpful, which made the experience even worse. Our room also wasn’t ready until 45 minutes after the posted check-in time, with no real apology or effort to make it right. Overall, it was not the level of service or cleanliness I would expect from a hotel, and I would not stay here again.”

“Room and property are very clean - almost brand new. Easy access to the beach and the pool was lovely. Room was well equipped, note you won't get housekeeping unless you have a long stay. Wish I'd realized this wasn't a traditional hotel - you'll be bothered at least twice to try and get you to go to the "vacation club" presentation. It's a timeshare by another name and they will hard sell you - up to you if a resort credit is worth half of day of your vacation. Staff were otherwise very nice,……
