The room is nice and clean. What was surprising and unpleasant was having to have $146 held for incidentals from my checking account, $10 more than I had already paid for thr room. When i asked how much the hold would be, the perdon at the desk said "I think about $30", $146 is quite a bit more than $30. If I had known the room for 1 night would tie up that much, I would have stayed someehere else.

The restaurant at the hotel was excellent the continental breakfast was great.The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was a great way to beat the summer heat.

We had a pool side room and it was great. Breakfast buffet was really delicious and different from most hotels which we appreciated. We walked the trails on la framboise island and that alone was a great reason to stay. Cleanliness of room could have been better but overall it was a decent stay & the midcentury modern architecture was really cool.
