“Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place. The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. “I received a message from the property owner that check-in was only available between 4 PM and 7 PM. Unfortunately, this posed a challenge for me, as I had a business dinner scheduled for 7:30 PM. Additionally, the property’s listing mentioned a complimentary shuttle service available 24/7, which I later found was not the case. As a result, I had to arrange for an Uber at my own expense.
