“We stayed in this wonderful place for 3 nights and I would have asked to stay longer if we could. This was our first time in Italy and tried to do the whole trip by train, bus, taxi or uber. Little did we know (I tried doing as much research as I could, but still it wasn’t enough) we would have needed a car for this beautiful, little village in the mountains. I let our hose know how we were getting there and I explained that we were being dropped off at the bus station in Canistro Inferior and……

Alfonso is an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful with tips for restaurants, supermarkets and days out. He was always available to quickly resolve any issues. “We had fantastic three days at Carmine's. The house is truly spectacular, it must be like staying with Hagrid from Harry Potter. The place was full of old curiosities and had an exciting atmosphere. Plenty of space for a family of 5 with teenagers. Good beds, clean and tidy. We recommend this house to everyone who wants to go away from the busy life and enjoy the nature. ”

“La struttura è una bomboniera dentro un altra bomboniera, che è il centro storico di Civitella Roveto. Accoglienza, disponibilità, gentilezza, da parte della gestione, umanità, leggerezza e serenità le persone del posto, a partire dalle abitazioni circostanti. Per il parcheggio bisogna un attimo prendere la misura del posto, consigliamo di sentire i gestori prima di partire, perché forniranno indicazioni precise e molto utili. “We were very suprised when we got there. It is a house located in a nice old village. You have to take a little walk from the parking place to the house. Good beds. No need to take your own bedding, kitchen/ bathing towels. There is no airconditioning in the house, there are two big vans. It can get quite warm inside, despite of the shutters.
