「It was a nice stay. Unique old time, upstairs "apartment". Very comfortable with everything provided for a comfortable stay. Lots of interesting books to look at!」

「Choose this place to stay so I could set up office while my kids spent time with their old nanny. Space worked perfectly for my needs although dust and dander were concerning. Host was extremely responsive, offered an early check in without requesting. The place was very spacious and charming for those who enjoy old farmhouse style.」

「Neighborhood looked a little sketch but was fine. Upstairs apartment. Tons of food already there. Plenty of heat which was important since the temps were in the teens. Great TVs with many channel options. 」

「Stayed here a total of 10 nights (2 reservations) while our daughter was at Hannibal Regional Hospital recovering from complications of a surgery. We rented the upstairs unit first, (Parlor on Paris) also 2 reservations, but switched to Huck's Hideaway when we realized we would be in town several weeks. Since we were taking shifts & staying with her around the clock, it was the perfect place to relax, refuel & rest. Kitchen was very functional with a great gas stove & full size appliances....

「First off, the host was all about meeting me there and pester me about when I would be there to get the key. No lockbox or anything like that. I had to work to late to meet him so he left the key anyway after a 1:45 minutes long voicemail at work and multiple texts. I get there after a long hard day and the place is 84 degrees.
