“The house was dirty and run-down, in a bad neighborhood. The only positive was its proximity to downtown Indiana. The beds were generally falling apart, the kitchen was a mess, the oven, refrigerator, etc. The beds, mattresses, and couches stank, the front door was practically falling apart, and the doorknob was falling off. Furthermore, my child was bitten by bedbugs two nights while she slept in the bunk bed. After that, she had to sleep with us for the rest of our stay. I strongly advise……

“We had a bit of a hiccup upon arrival -- the code wasn't sent ahead of time and we had a bit of a challenge trying to connect with Jeff, but the team at VRBO helped us navigate it and we were able to get in. It was important for us to get in right on time because we had tickets to the Big Ten women's basketball tournament at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. We were grateful to have found a property that let us bring our dogs and had a safe, fenced backyard. ”

“The house was beautiful overall. However, there were a few issues. Both rooms smelled like animal urine, and the carpet looked like it needed cleaning. This, combined with my allergies, made it difficult to sleep. The bed was also dirty When I first walked in, the house smelled like an animal had just left. Despite these problems, the neighborhood was very quiet, and the neighbors didn’t bother us. The host was also helpful.”
