"The hotel is located in a lovely little village with a harbour and lots of very good traditional restaurants. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable and all have large balconies with beautiful views across to Sami and the island of Ithaca. Our room had a huge bed and had a great power shower and fluffy white bath towels. It was all very clean and well maintained. "We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible.
Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. "I have stayed at Alexatos several times and will do so again if I come to Agia. The apartments are comfortable clean and quiet, very close to the centre but set back, so almost no traffic and very quiet at night. Mirka, Demetrios and Steven are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome - they even helped me with some trouble with my rental car. "

"Our second stay at Mikro Villa, we came back because it's a fantastic little villa in a beautiful place. Immaculately clean, the villa has everything you need, and its size means it's just such an easy place to spend your days idling. Plenty of comfortable shady sitting areas, nice views across the valley and a few minutes walk to the shops, bars and restaurants of Agia Effimia.Great owners too :)"
