"This was our third trip to this hotel, and it is a lovely place to stay, but I was disappointed this time in the villa we were given. Both times before we have had villa 85, which suits us perfectly, but in spite of booking over a year ago and requesting the same villa again, we were given another one which simply wasn't as good. The bedroom was darker, patio area not as good, there was noise from a main walkway outside our door and not such a good view. Very disappointed, especially as I contacted the hotel twice during the year asking if we had villa 85. I did not get a reply to one enquiry and the other merely replied with blah blah. On arrival I was given the limp excuse that maybe someone else had booked that villa before me. 13 months ago? I doubt it. The restaurant/breakfast staff were excellent, especially Athina who was charming, but the housekeeping was a bit hit and miss. In spite of repeated requests to have the teabags replenished every day as I drink a lot of tea they weren't, meaning I had to keep asking at reception. The water wasn't refilled every day either. The classes we did were very good, with friendly and expert instructors. The breakfast buffet was superb, especially the fruit buffet. About the best I've ever had. All in all we enjoyed our holiday, but although we would like to come back next year we won't unless we get the villa we requested so long ago. It's an expensive holiday and we wanted it to be as perfect as the two previous visits."
White Rocks Hotel Kefalonia

"White Rocks is a superb hotel and the beach is delightful, however they advertise land view rooms -don’t be misled- these room face on to a very busy road within metres from your balcony. We had to insist on a change to sea view which cost an additional €360 which they would not negotiate on- very disappointing. That being said we would return to a sea view room only for the location, beaches and easy access to the airport & Argostoli"

"This hotel was truly the highlight of our trip! The entire property is absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. You can tell they take amazing care of everything, from the landscaping and pool area to every little detail around the hotel. Our room was spacious, beautiful, and had a kitchenette with everything we could possibly need, which made our stay even more comfortable. The pool area was incredible, with a great variety of amazing drinks and food to enjoy while relaxing. The staff were all so friendly and helpful with anything we needed throughout our stay. Overall, we had such an amazing experience and would 100% come back. This hotel was a 20/10!"

"The hotel is in a great location! The room was nice and we had reserved a room with a Seaview. I definitely think its worth the extra money to upgrade. The lobby and breakfast area was lovely. Most importantly the staff was kind and helpful. I'm sure they get lots of questions and requests all day and every day, however that did not deter them from being very kind and patient with my questions. There is also parking at this hotel which is wonderful for those that have a vehicle."

"The hotel is located in a lovely little village with a harbour and lots of very good traditional restaurants. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable and all have large balconies with beautiful views across to Sami and the island of Ithaca. Our room had a huge bed and had a great power shower and fluffy white bath towels. It was all very clean and well maintained. The pool was very clean and had plenty of seating areas, although not a lot of shade which is what we prefer. It was very quiet (early June) which we really enjoyed as it made for a very relaxing holiday."
