"This house was everything that we’d hoped for and more. After a long drive we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived… the house itself is wonderful and so well equipped with everything you can imagine you would need. But the highlight for us was the outside space, having breakfast on the terrace, bbq in the evening and spending time in the lovely pool. The vast garden is so pretty and totally private , great for our dog. We did venture out and explore the area some days and had a few meals out at...

Top Pillac Hotel Reviews

Characterful and Spacious 2 Bedroom Gite, Sleeps 4 with Dedicated Pool

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely fantastic stay in this wonderful gite. Communication was brilliant all the way through right up to and including letting us know exactly when we could check in. Lovely uninterrupted views across the valley from the private pool and terrace. Plenty of sun and shade to be had in the massive garden. The house is very well equipped and the rooms are huge but very homely, we felt comfortable immediately in this place. Lesley and Pete are great; really friendly and not at all imposing. Location is fantastic, plenty to do in the surrounding area and amenities close at hand but it feels so peaceful and secluded at the property - the absolute best of both worlds. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone, it really does tick a lot of boxes."

Beautiful country house with pool, magnificent views of the countryside,

10/10 Excellent

"We had a truly wonderful holiday here with our two young children. The gîte is spacious, clean, and tastefully presented, and is set in amazingly peaceful countryside with panoramic views to surrounding villages and farmland. The owners are friendly and communication is easy. We stayed for a week but could have easily stayed all summer - we will be back!"

Beautiful 12th Century Post House with Private Pool sleeps 27 in 13 bedrooms.

10/10 Excellent

"A great house for a large party. We spent most of the time outside - our group (including six children aged 3 to 10) really enjoyed the pool, games room, toy house. The gas barbecue was really helpful and there was loads of cutlery, crockery etc. We also appreciated the generous provision of loo rolls, soap, cleaning stuff, towels etc."

Holiday Home 'La Grange' with Private Pool, Private Terrace and Wi-Fi

10/10 Excellent

French farmhouse Gite for up to 10 guests, private pool, stunning country views

10/10 Excellent

"Really lovely farmhouse amidst the beautiful Charente countryside. Very spacious, clean and well equipped. There were only 5 of us so two bedrooms were unused but even if they had been there was plenty of room for everyone. Very comfy beds, great showers and very welcome air conditioning although the house stays remarkably cool even in heat dome conditions ! The gardens, pool and barn are particularly lovely. Wendy the host was super friendly and helpful! We will definitely visit again"
