「My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.」

「Overall, great stay!!! Pre-stay communication was spot-on with the info provided. Not that the hosts could do anything about it, but the weather was spectacular. Proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway is outstanding. The cabin itself is well appointed and cozy. It has a great variety of kitchen ware, I did not need anything extra with a 3 night stay and making all my food there at the cabin. The bed was so comfortable (downstairs) and the tub was a treat. Would 100% stay again」

「Tyler's weekend "wee" treat was an adorable little tiny house that was the perfect stay for a few nights. The tiny house looked exactly like the photos, and was on a very quiet dead-end road. It was a beautiful drive to get here! Since I was in the area for work, a basic kitchen and solid Wi-Fi were must-haves, and the tiny house did not disappoint. I was by myself, but you could comfortably fit two people. I'll be looking forward to staying here again the next time I'm in town! 」

「Wonderful house, great stay. So peaceful with gorgeous views, deer everywhere. House has absolutely everything you need and the arcade games and air hockey were so fun. We were staying for a wedding at the state park and it was convenient for family to come in and out and the bride to get ready. Lots of folks in and out and never felt crowded. We enjoyed it and would definitely stay again! Host was very prompt to respond to questions.」

「Moo Meadows is a cabin that provides all the comforts of home. The surroundings are peaceful and serene with wildlife and beautiful views. The nearby town of Meadows of Dan welcomes you with comfort food, friendly locals and treasures of all kinds.」

「Very clean. Very quiet. The cabin was as described. This place is very secluded. You have to travel 5-10 minutes on gravel roads to get there. Or 30 minutes if your gps takes you in the wrong direction ( happened twice to us!). Everything about the place itself was great.」

「Cabin was beautiful with lots of space and views. Fully stocked with essentials including a Brita filter that was a blessing to hydrate with and refill our water bottles. Host was responsive and thoughtful, even provided a Curated list of things to do in the area. Will definitely come back. 」

「This is our second time to stay at this home for our annual family reunion. We are a large group and the home accommodated us beautifully. We especially enjoyed the covered porch - it had lots of seating and a pretty view of the property. The large yard was fun for corn hole competitions. Our family also enjoyed walking, jogging, and biking on the Huckleberry trail, conveniently accessed from the end of the driveway. The house feels secluded yet grocery stores are just a five or ten minute...

「Beautiful spot! Serene, peaceful and calming.The owners/host (Jake) were so accommodating and friendly. The house was perfect for our needs. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable for everyone, great amenities for in house cooking, and to our surprise river tubing on site!!! Our grandson is a new corps cadet at VT …this was the perfect place to re-set for all of us.Plan to return in October.Kudos to the Moody family for getting this home and their camp site ready in quick order after Hurricane Helene....

There's also a lot of complaints about mould on the curtains, however the state is humid and I didn't see any mould, just rust stains on the curtains.
