"The hotel was completely empty and we booked on Expedia, the last minute so we could see my daughter in a special group home on her birthday. We asked if we could have a room on the water, everytime we go to the hotel we get it, they said since we booked on Expedia the rate difference they would not allow, it was $40 more but empty. "

"The couple who run the Sherman Inn are absolutely lovely — welcoming, attentive, and care a lot about their guests and their experience. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional! This place is truly a hidden gem!! "

"The property has a lot offer in summer. We went during winter. Rooms are falling apart, dirty and more. Staff wasn't friendly. There no breakfast included as advertised. During summer yes. An updated web site would have been nice. I would have stayed at another one. Price for my stay was rediculous seeing as it was regular rate for summer. Never again. We found nicer places for less after so next time will stay somewhere else that will have breakfast included no matter the season"
