Luxury chalet-style cabin in the pines. Vaulted tongue and groove ceilings, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, & granite slab counter tops throughout. Kitchen/great room area and shaded wrap around deck ideal for outdoor vacation gatherings. 3 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen) plus loft. Downstairs master suite with granite, large walk in shower and deep soaker tub. Full bath upstairs and power room downstairs, all with granite vanity tops. Satellite HDTV with wireless Blu-Ray player for video streaming and wireless high-speed internet. Wildlife viewing from the relaxing deck including deer, elk and javelina, etc. Less than a mile from the Arizona Trail and restaurants and shops in Pine. Close to Fossil Creek, Water Wheel Falls, East Verde River, Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, Mogollon Rim lakes and endless hiking / mountain biking trails. Only a short and scenic 90-minute drive from the East Valley.

Very Quiet and comfortable cabin. Nice and well maintained kitchen and bedrooms. One suggestion would be to add a couple of whisky glasses to the kitchen.

This was our 4th time staying at this property. It’s a great location- close to hiking and shops. The cabin is clean, beds are very comfortable, lots of kitchen supplies. Elk and deer move through the yard daily. The hosts are friendly and responsive.

Belated Anniversary Celebration

We've stayed here a few times as its one of our favorites. The location of the cabin is perfect, the neighbors are friendly, and the neighborhood is quiet. We saw plenty of elk during our stay which we looked forward to (both while at the cabin and in Strawberry). Staying at this beautiful cabin gives your body, your mind and soul peace while staying here. It's sad to leave and go back to the real world. Haha!Communication was very easy with the host. We had a few bumps upon arrival that were taken care of, although time consuming. We arrived late our first night and were exhausted. We stayed for 4 days, met a very nice couple while we were shopping at Wal-Mart and had an instant connection. We've continued keeping in touch. You never know who you will meet or what is going to happen in life. Perfect timing!We relaxed on the deck, watched the elk and enjoyed the cool morning. Coffee is best out on the deck. Refreshing! We look forward to staying again. My husband and I wanted to relax, enjoy sitting out on the deck and we watched a few movies. Listening to the quiet was perfect!The cabin is beautiful, there's plenty of room for everyone. We had a great time celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. Our stay was simple, filled with R&R and loved every minute of being in the mountains. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Our Happy Place!You'll enjoy your stay.

Nice & Relaxing

We had a great stay! Was a little dusty & had some cobwebs in certain rooms but otherwise great! We had up to 13 elk/deer in the yard in an afternoon. Our second day there it rained & it was nice to sit on the porch & enjoy that. It was also nice that we didn't have to take the garbage cans to the road, the garbage man came right up & took care of that. We loved all the windows with beautiful sunlight.The king bedroom upstairs I might suggest getting blackout curtains or something, the moon was so bright & it just shined so bright in that room that we had to block it up, had it hard to fall asleep.

Good location

Great location, only about a mile to Old County Pizza. You are in a neighborhood but still geels quiet and like you are in the woods when you sit on the deck. Tons of elk in the area. Some even came right by the porch one morning.

Beautiful Pine Getaway

This property is clean and comfortable! A great getaway from the heat in Phoenix. Love sitting on the deck, watching the elk go by. Everything is as advertised so you can’t go wrong with this rental. Already looking forward to next year!

Getaway in the mountains

Beautiful cabin, calm and quiet neighborhood. Very relaxing stay with family. Kids had fun in the snow and played outside within the property but would go back even in summer to to hiking.in the nearby trails.

The cabin was beautiful. Our four year old informed us that we need to decorate our house like the cabin. Haha. The 9month old had free roam and was safe to crawl around and had a blast. It was a beautiful location, the kiddo begged to go walk in the forest every chance she got. Communication with the owners was great. The check-in/check-out process was well explained. Thank you for a wonderful trip!!!!! (Sorry we didn’t leave the cabin until about 10:30 or so, our car battery died which I’m sure you saw on the ring camera. Also, the kiddo said thank you on there as well)

Very Clean & Great Location

This was our 3rd time staying at this property. We love it! The cabin is very clean, the hosts provide everything we need, and the location is great for hiking, activities, and walking in the neighborhood. Lots of wildlife come through the property. The neighborhood is generally quiet this time of year. The host is very responsive and considerate. The cabin is as-advertised. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Cool Weekend in Pine

Located this property on VRBO about a month out from our visit. The home stood out due to the newness of the structure and the value of the rate per night. We were not disappointed. The drive from Phoenix was very reasonable considering we left town after work. The drive up through Payson was very scenic and we encountered much less traffic than a similar drive up the 17 to Sedona on a Friday afternoon. We were greeted by a herd of Elk on the way into the neighborhood and several deer were already in the yard when we arrived. We felt right at home. This property is more custom home than cabin. Very roomy, and all the comforts of modern conveniences with the feeling of camping in the tall pines. Within minutes of unpacking the car, we were cooking steaks on the grill and enjoying smores on the fire pit on the deck. Quiet secluded area with lots of opportunities for woodland creature sightings. Close to Payson and Strawberry. Downtown Pine is less than 5 minutes away. Owner was very accessable and had great recommendations. This was just such a great place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the clean cool air. Temps were between 60 and 85 the entire weekend. A definite improvement from 110 when we left Phoenix. A well deserved break from the heat of the valley. Nearby forest lined lakes and sweeping views of rim country definitely opened our eyes to this region of AZ. Highly recommend the area and this rental property.
