"Basic accommodations close to Shawnee Ski Area. Beds, pillows and towels all in bad need of upgrades along with old heating units that are hard to regulate. Tissues and plastic cups would be appreciated room additions. But rooms are clean and aside from one recent visit when heat and hot water were not working, functional. The staff is friendly and the pub is open late and always fun! We only need a place to crash for one night and can’t beat the price and location!"

"Super great spot if you’re hiking for the weekend (stokes state park Is 5 mins up the road). The bed was SO comfortable . Very clean .The decor was adorable , I felt like I was near the beach . Parking spot right outside your door ( I like to be able to see my car). The mini fridge and microwave were so cute and worked well . "Hot tub and the lake were great! Rooms were very nice and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice as well. Only comments I have are that the water pressure on the 2nd floor was too low to shower and walking down to the lake could use some stairs. We had an amazing trip and enjoyed the house amenities! Communication with the hosts was fast and they were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental and would love to stay here again!"

"The stay was very pleasant! The cleanliness of the house & the amenities were very delightful. I would definitely stay again when the weather is nice, so the lake & fire pit could be enjoyed! Other than the game room needing new pool Ques. The stay was very relaxing & enjoyable."

When we arrived there were some things that needed attention (the coffee beans were low and not sufficient, one marshmallow bag was left open, the ping pong balls were all damaged, and there was not dish soap to fill the dispenser), but the owner was very communicative and quickly resolved issues. "We had a fantastic long-weekend stay at this beautiful home! The sauna and hot tub were such a treat, especially with the stunning views all around. The house was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a relaxing getaway in every way. We would absolutely love to come back!"
