Sitting in the beautiful courtyard was a real pleasure. The rooms give you a complete taste of old china whist enjoying the lovely equipped bathroom, and comfortable authentic bed. Added to this the beautiful city of pingyao. Highly recommended the elsewhere hotel and pingyao. :) xx」

「We were looking for a traditional Chinese courtyard guesthouse so we booked this place. It was perfect for us. Great location in the centre of the old town and friendly, English speaking staff. You could walk to all the main sights. Room was very pretty and traditional. Had a brand new wet-room shower which was a bonus. Traditional bed was firm but comfortable. Toiletries provided. All in all a great stay and value. A lovely base for our time in Pingyao.」

「Beautiful set up, clean exotic facility but with modern comfort like new bathroom and wifi. The only thing is no electronic water boiler in the room, and also water from the shower is not strong at all.」
