“My family wanted to get out of town to see the stars, planet alignment, and just escape the city for the weekend. As soon as we saw the boulder house we knew it was the place. Not only was the house extremely unique, it had so many cool little rooms and themes throughout. On top of that, the pool and jacuzzi were heated, something about swimming in 49-50 weather with a desert backdrop makes it feel like a whole new experience. "Except we were email/ call 3 times with 24 hours before check-in (I couldn’t help but guessed it was due to they had nobody working after 9pm), everything was beating expectation. Room was decent. Service was excellent - TV remote was available (for our device to connect to hdmi) the minute we asked ; room was cleaned, bed were made, towel replaced, bathroom was cleaned, garbage was cleared daily - which was not the case in most of the motel. We were so excited to bbq in motel public area first time in our lives. The only area for improvement is wifi. But who cares? "
