fantastische plek in de natuur

Geweldige plek middenin de natuur, heerlijk eten, vriendelijk personeel. Heel speciaal. Alles inclusief, prima geregeld allemaal!

Do not trust in reservation

Unfortunatly I couldn't enjoy of the hotel on spite of having a "non refundable" confirmed reservation, when I arrived to the hotel office the staff informed me that que hotel was overboocked. Nobody informed me before my arrival, no Expedia netheir the hotel. Te action form expedia was slow and unprofessional. Only the hotel staff take fare of me. The Park was closed (at five o'clock has is mentioned in the reservation) and they were looking for another hotel. No money refound and any kind of compensation. International calls (very expensive in India) paid by me.

All to ourselves

It turned out that we were the only guests in the hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and the location could not be better. The rooms were very nice although the beds were a bit hard.If you are looking to treat yourself in India this is a great place to do so.

Ruhige Oase im Periyar Wildlife Resort

Dies ist eine zwar sehr teure aber einmalige Oase im Priyar Wildlife Resort. Wir haben mit einem Glas Wein i der hand den Elefanten, Bisons und Gazellen beim grasen zugeschaut - sehr toll! Bis auf die Bäder ein sehr schönes Hotel mit hervorragdner indischer Küche in Vollpension. Die geführten Waderungen, allerdings nur durch einen kleinen Teil des Naturschutzgebietes, sind im Presi enthalten, ebenso wie die Bottsfahrten. Als Hotelgast wird man allerdings bei beidem sehr bevorzugt!

Mixed review

Setting is really nice. Very relaxing and private. The managers were very friendly and accommodating, food was tasty and plentiful. On the downside it was super expensive for what you got. We paid AUD $ 370 for 2 adults and 2 kids and the room was not large enough for us to each have a bed so was squeezed 3 into a QS bed and as a result did not sleep well at all. The bathroom was grotty with mould and it just felt unclean. We very much wanted this to be a great experience but it just wasn't and therefore couldn't recommend based on current condition for the price.

superb

We were the only guests in this 6 room palace for the first night.the hotel manager could not do enough for us (without being intrusive).We saw far more from the comfortable seats on our large terrace than at any other point on our Periyar Reserve stay.Food was good,room great.Beautiful spot.
