Fabulous property

We were hugely impressed with this B&B - probably the nicest we've ever stayed in. It's in a great, quiet location an easy walk from the centre of Pitlochry. The property is a lovely stone period house, and our room on the first floor was wonderful, with beautiful views. With an enormous bathroom and a sofa, it was like an apartment. The host Mary was very welcoming, and served an excellent cooked breakfast. She also recommended a nice restaurant in town, the Old Mill, who gave us free glasses of wine as guests of the Ellangowan.

Very nice property with adorable rooms. Breakfast was delightful and Mary was a wonderful host. Nearby restaurants are very good and Mary helped with reservations. Would definitely come back. Loved this place.

An excellent base for a weekend at Pitlochry Theatre. Ellangowan is a beuatiful house, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. A warm and friendly welcome and very good freshly prepared breakfasts.

vriendelijk onthaal, het ontbijt was voorzien van 8.00 tot 9.30 maar we moesten reeds om 7.00 vertrekken voor onze vlucht. De host heeft voor ons ontbijt gezorgd om 6.30. Zeer hulpvaardig.

Wonderful B&B! Not to be missed!

We stayed at the B&B for 2 nights and had a great stay. The room was bright and roomy with a large en-suite. Very comfortable with a lovely view to the trees at the back. The host was very helpful with suggestions to restaurants & nearby sights. Breakfast was generous with a number of choices for the cooked food. There is on-site parking. The accommodation is walking distance to the main road so no need to drive to restaurants or sights. Would stay again!
