This was the second time that I have stayed at the Mansions. It really is a charming and elegant home turned hotel. The rooms are clean. The staff are nice. And the parking is a great bonus. I look forward to my next trip to Pittsburgh!

We stayed just one night to help our son move to an off campus house near Pitt. Our room was large and lovely - a grand old building lovingly restored. Parking right there and no extra charge. Just a few minutes from Pitt’s campus. Price was comparable to brand name hotels, but the place is much more interesting. We took a short Uber ride to dinner (love Butterjoint) and enjoyed a nightcap at the hotel bar, sleeping hard in our quiet room after moving and cleaning. The hotel’s bag breakfast was a snack to get us going for good bagels and coffee. Really the only minus there is the lack of solid breakfast and good coffee, and not big one. Will certainly stay here again.

The room is clean. We stay at a king-bed room with a sofa bed, they’re comfortable. The mansion and the house is amazing: full of old time styles and with beautiful garden. We took a lot of pictures of them.
BTW, the hotel stays at a quiet and safe community and near CMU campus. It’s easy to find delicious foods too.

Fantastic hotel
Fantastic stay for a family gathering to celebrate the life of our uncle. Staff was incredibly accommodating. Rooms were well appointed and clean. We all stsyed in the annex house and were able to use the common area to go thru photos and belongings without interruption.

Came to stay here due to location near Shadyside hopsital, where I had surgery the next day.
What a beautiful property. Friendly staff, especially our bartender. She was young, but easy to talk to and had knowledge beyond her years.
We didnt eat here, so can not attest to that. Beds were confortable. Rooms very large and the interior was like a european hotel. Dark woods with Great history.

The complete property is beautiful. The classic feel all around is comforting and elegant. The size of the room and bathroom is amazing. The main lobby is impressive.
The only detail that should be taken into consideration: the size and amount of soap in the bathroom and the lack of water bottles to drink is important.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and it feels like a privilege to be staying there. The rooms are huge and beautifully decorated as are the public areas. Shout out to Devin at the bar for an engaging evening of conversation.
