Definitely a neat place to stay. The staff was friendly, helpful, and engaging, however, the cook was not available, so dinner options weren’t available at the hotel that night.

I liked staying in a historic place. The room was clean enough. The parking was fine. The staff was helpful but a little rough around the edges. I just thought the room was too plain for its surroundings and the price. It was quiet, though.

I stayed at this hotel while visiting my son, who attends a nearby university, and the location was perfect! It was only a five-minute walk to his campus, and I could also take a public bus to the airport, which was very convenient. The hotel is a beautiful historic building with lots of charm and character. My room was a good size for one person. The only downside was that there was no elevator, so carrying my suitcase up to the second floor was a bit of a challenge. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches during my stay. The housekeeper left a lovely welcome note in my room, which was such a sweet surprise. Even one of the other guests was kind enough to share a pastry with me! The hotel staff were also helpful when needed. With rates under $200 a night, I thought it was a great value for the money. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying here again!

This is my favorite place to stay when I visit my son at College. It’s in walking distance to Carnegie Mellon and the parking is included in the price which helps. The reason I gave it four stars is because the property could use a little bit of updating. Maybe some new mattresses and checking out the drip sound in the bathroom. But otherwise I do love the place. I just wish it was available more often.

We stayed during a visit to Carnegie Mellon. Location was perfect. It's an older property but that adds to the charm. Good sound proofing. Cannot control the thermostat beyond a set temperature; Vents are high up the tall ceilings. AC system was quiet. I believe the hotel had a small bar but no other real food option. Plenty of nearby restaurants.
