“Very disappointing stay.
We booked two rooms through Expedia, and both were musty, unpleasant-smelling, and poorly maintained. One room looked as though it had not been used for a long time.
Fixtures were loose, there were no proper towel hooks, the shower soap dispensers were empty, and there were flying insects in the rooms, including a squashed mosquito left on the wall.
The rooms felt neglected rather than simply old. Definitely not the standard we expected for the price.”
“The loch view was great! We thought we had the room without the private deck and we were placed into suite 1 upon arrival. Sadly it was rainy and a bit chilly to fully enjoy the deck but the view was spectacular. We thought we would hear traffic due to the ferry but we never heard a thing. The room is well sound proof. The breakfast muffins, yogurt and fresh juice and milk was a great touch since there is limited food in the area. When we come through again in the future, we will look here first……
“The room condition is clearly old and worn off especially for the toilet. It’s clean though. The hotel needs a renovation to bring the client experience to the next higher level. ”
“The room is clean. The staffs are friendly and very efficiency. The breakfast is great, authentic UK style breakfast. The view is super great! There is a very cute and very smart dog. ”
“Bonne localisation. Chambre démesurément petite (à peine de la place pour les bagages). Salle de bain minuscule et besoin de rénovation). On avait l'impression de déranger la personne en arrivant à l’hotel, croissant sec dans la boîte à lunch du petit déjeuner. Je ne recommande pas.”
“Very very bad experience with high room rate. First day check in the radiator was malfunction, then the manager offered a dusty and dirty portable heater. The hair dryer also occasionally out of order. The second day the room was cleaned with used towels left and room and floor was not cleaned. The third day no cleansing and also NO hot water supply. Though staff were tried to help and offered bottle of wine, but you can imagine how bad the experience during the stay. Will tell my friends not to……
