“It was fantastic that you can literally get off the Scot rail train at Morar and walk 50m to the door of the hotel! Which was especially amazing given it was pouring rain when we arrived. It was a lovely little place, friendly helpful staff at reception and in the restaurant. Restaurant food was fabulous, and we saw an amazing sunset through the clouds as our meal ended and the rain stopped. Excellent and memorable stay. Many thanks to the reception desk employee, young lady, who helped us……

“Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen. The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
