Was always the only place myself and all my family members would stay in Freeport Maine. I'm so disappointed that such a beautiful inn has deteriorated to what it is today.I wish the new owners the best of luck. They have a major task to bring this landmark Inn back to a class A destination.

We came for a hockey tournament and this place served up some needed R&R in between. It was situated directly halfway in between two arenas so it made the usual chaos that comes with twins in hockey much less stressful.

Great little ski home right on the mountain. Walk right to slopes (pro tip: walk a few steps uphill and get on Sunburst in the morning, to skip the slow base lift below)The rooms were fine, but be aware the walls are thin and/or partial-height, so it’s a bit intimate. I’d call it a “cabin” style ...
