「This was a cozy cabin located in a very cute property. We loved taking our breakfast in the porch to watch the ducks and fish. We had a really lovely stay!! I want to highlight some things that I do wish we had known in advance to feel more prepared though, as the cabin was more rustic than what the listing portrayed. There were only two of us, but it’s worth noting that the sofa bed was in the front living room area, and the AC was located in the bedroom and worked best with that door closed....

「Our host was very friendly and very helpful and informative about things to do in the area. He has very quick replies to any questions you may have. A 5 star host. The outdoor space is very nice. We didn't use the hot tub, as we weren't there for long, but if we'd been there a little longer we may have. It looked like a very nice feature. We loved the hanging chairs on the balcony, and if the sky is clear, you have some pretty good views. Inside was pretty stuffy and could use airing out...

「We had a fabulous 4 day stay in this house. Lovely gardens with lots of wildlife and wonderful pool. Well equipped and very comfortable. Location worked well for us as we had a rental car (house is 15 mins outside La Fortuna) 」

「We had a rough start with communication and getting into the property when we arrived late. I was told I would get the check-in details at 2:45 pm. That did NOT happen. I drive for 4 hours and then had to wait and contact via What’sApp, which was never specified in earlier communication with the property manager/owner. 「I loved the property, the pool area is beautiful, rooms and restrooms were properly clean. Gorgeous view of the volcano! But the best were the people! The service everywhere was excellent, Alejandra and Jonathan during breakfast were amazing! Wilmer at the pool bar. Fabian when we checked in. Everyone from the reception to the bars were so great. Thanks for making our stay extra special. Definitely coming back! 」

「Pros: room was very clean, the hot springs are right on the property and are great for sore muscles, the staff are very friendly, the resort is located very close to the arenal volcano and other sights in la fortuna Cons: this place has a touristy resort feel, lots of families and kids running about the hot springs and the pool. I wish it was more kid-free. the food here is quite expensive compared to your typical costa rican soda. 」
