The location is perfect. The owner is very sweet. The pool was awesome and beautiful at night. We had the lower ground suite which did not offer the sunset view but higher ones offer magnificent sunset view.

Nice stay in Platanias

It was a very nice stay in a quiet place outside Platanias busy main street. It had 2 very good greek restaurant (4.8 and 4.9 on google map) just 1 minutes away. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Only negative was that the freezer was out of order and the stove didt give much heat and cooking took a long time. But we would like to return! 🙂

The property is high on a hill which gives beautiful views of Platanias. The beach is a walk away and it’s nice not to be situated in the hustle & bustle of the main road! Excellent restaurant choices in the immediate upper Platanias area. Very friendly management also!

Had a lovely 11 night stay at Esthisis. Excellent contact from booking. Arranged taxis for us (no additional charge just normal taxi cost) both ways. Owners mother was on reception and was lovely friendly and great information given. The cleaners were also excellent. Cleaned every day with towels changed twice a day and bedding also changed. Again very friendly whenever we saw them. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Very quiet excellent sun beds. Most comfortable ones I have experienced. Never an issue getting a bed either. Several restaurants all in walking distance less than a couple of minutes were all great. Main Street close with lots of shops and more restaurants. Thank you for a great holiday

Lovely hotel with an amazing view

The place is amazing! Close to everything-(beach, close to the best restaurants in town, supermarkets etc.) Additionally the place is very quite and the view is amazing. We had a room with 2 bedrooms and 3 balconies. And the owners are lovely-they helped us with everything-booking taxis,booking a rental car etc. We can strongly recommend this hotel!

The stay was overall good. Large rooms and balconies, nice pool and quiet hotel and area. However, the kitchen did not have enough kitchen equipment. The cleaning was bad and it was dusty in many areas, especially under and behind furnitures.

Lovely accomdation

Located close to the beach and resturants in Platanias.About 10 minute walk to beach. Lots of resturants in even closer but up hill so would not suit everyone. Bus to Chania available from main street. Apartment was clean and spacious. It was cleaned and towels changed daily. Nice pool area with sunbeds. Efi and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. Efi was very helpful before our stay and booked us taxi to and from airport. Hope to visit again

Relaxing one week break

Lovely, friendly and relaxing, second time here. Great location with easy access to the more busy parts of the town. Lots of great friendly restaurants, lovely beaches. Good cheap transport on the local buses. Great country walks through the orange and olive groves.

This place is a gem. Perfect destination for families as the suite had lots of space to relax unlike a normal hotel room. The pool was beautiful and the room had a lovely patio that we sat on in the mornings. Kitchen allowed for some breakfast items to be kept for lazy morning starts. The property is easily walkable into town in 5 minutes, which we preferred to being right in town as it would be much noisier - Esthisis was very peaceful and quiet.

Absolute gem of a place, great location - quiet & peaceful but a short stroll downhill to the Main Street & several restaurants up the hill too. Beautiful beach a 10 min walk away. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. They organised us taxis to/from the airport & sorted a hire car for us too. Nothing was too much trouble, we were met from the taxi with cool drinks and a very warm welcome which made us feel so special. The apartment was poolside which was great, there were always loungers to relax on & several times we had the pool to ourselves. We had everything we needed in the apartment- plenty of crockery & a nice big fridge/freezer. Huge bonus was having 3 bedrooms as our teenagers no longer want to share & meant there was plenty of space for us all. Daily cleaners were lovely, always smiling & did a fantastic job. We really felt at home here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat not too far off the beaten track! Thank you so much team Esthisis, we hope to be back someday :-)
