Beautiful property with generous hosts

My family of 4 and my cousin’s family of 4 stayed in this beautiful property 40 minutes west of Chania on Crete. The house itself was gorgeous, spotless, and well-appointed. The kitchens were well stocked with everything you could think of, including cheese graters, pasta strainers, and plenty of glasses/plates/silverware. The hosts generously provided a welcome basket with fruit, cookies, coffee pods, and treats. They also serviced the properties halfway through our stay, which was welcomed and not expected. My kids loved the 7 cats that roamed the property, and we got used to the neighbor’s roosters! The only feedback I would provide is to suggest that the owners include references to the property signage on the confirmation information. We drove around a bit on narrow dirt roads trying to find the house, but there was bright yellow signage along the way; we just didn’t know the signs were for this particular property. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!!

Very clean, spacious home. There is the main floor and then the upstairs unit which you reach via a separate door. This worked well since we were two families traveling together so we had plenty of room to spread out. Stefanos was very kind and welcoming, and the snacks and drinks that were waiting for us were a nice surprise. The property was in a great location for visiting Chania and some top tourist destinations nearby. You definitely need a car as nothing is within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine sur place. Les deux appartements sont spacieux et très bien équipés. Nous n’avions besoin de rien (pastilles lave vaisselle, lessives, sacs poubelle tout était là) Nous étions 2 familles Nos hôtes étaient très accueillants et nous ont gâté dès notre arrivé. (Fruits, boissons, gâteaux..) Nous avons utilisé Google transats car ils ne parlaient que grec et quelques mots en anglais. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cette maison.
