“Alas, this property has seen better days. It’s not horrible, or even unbearable, but bare bones. AC was adequate for sleep but not for siesta. Beach is not inviting. Nearby bars were ok for food. We left a day early. ”

The lodge is surrounded by rainforest teeming with life ....birds / lizards/ monkeys/ frogs/ spiders. I have a particular interest in phoneutria sp ....wandering spiders and saw many at night ....such impressive spiders....and shy and calm........wanted to see them for many years, and danta made a reality. “We really enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was really clean wit amazing, open spaces and a nice pool. The washroom was clean and the rooms were really comfortable with AC and multiple beds, towels, and some blankets. Raquel was an awesome host and gave us really great recommendations nearby including restaurants and a convenience store. We weren't expecting so many critters but it was easy to keep them out of the bedrooms and didn't interfere much with our stay. It was such a good environment to……

Para empezar, la habitación es un éxito rotundo: sumamente espaciosa, con una limpieza impecable y un ambiente muy agradable. Cuenta con un gran baño, refrigeradora y las camas están una delicia; nos tocó una habitación con dos camas Queen separadas y cada una viene con 4 almohadas excelentes, lo cual garantizó un descanso increíble. I thought it might not be our kind of place - and I also didn't realise the Corcovado day trip boats could pick you up from there - but I chose to spend a couple of nights there so that we'd be half-way along the Drake Bay Trail. “Fantasztikus családi vállalkozás! A hely egyszerűen hihetetlen. Távol a világ zajától az esőerdő mélyén. A háziasszony finom ételeket készít! Ő a lelke az egésznek. Mindenki felkészült a természet kincseiből, amiből van itt bőven! A túránk során , amit a férje vezetett, láttunk és fényképeztünk Tukánt, Spider monkeyt, és még egy másik fajtát is, és sok sok madarat. Éjszaka pedig békát és kígyót is! A fiaik nagyon nagyon lelkes természetbarátok. Életreszóló élmény volt az itt eltöltött pár nap!……

We loved that the bedrooms were closed off and did have air conditioning, but that the rest of the unit was completely open The house cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning every morning I had laundry done, and it was very reasonably priced and done very well The unit is within walking distance to almost everything but best of all the beach is right there!”
