Perfect place to call home for 6 days! Felt very safe and quiet (except for nearby construction which was of no fault of the host!) and was convenient to walk anywhere. Loved the little private pool for our rest days in between nearby excursions. Would stay here again!

Loved our 4 night stay here! Victor, the host, was very accommodating and let us check in a bit early and out a bit late. We really appreciated not having to carry our luggage around due to our odd flight times! The rooftop private pool was a perfect oasis to just relax. Inside is a bit outdated, but it had everything we needed and was fantastic rental. Would stay there again.

Convenient & Comfortable Residential Stay

We recently completed a nice 10 day stay. Victor is a great host, very informative & helpful. The penthouse is located in a gated residential area within easy walking distance to supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants & shopping. Interior has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Air conditioning, cable tv & Wi-Fi worked great. We usually prepared brunch there to enjoy on the spacious patio. The small pool is a great place to chill out! We spent most our time there lounging around. There is some large residential construction going on in the area causing noise, but they did seem to start & stop at a reasonable hour. Overall a great place for a nice residential stay.

Quiet Paradise

Overall the listing is spot on, quiet gated community. Small plunge pool that was nice to sun tan by and dip into to cool off. Victor is very responsive and helpful with all our requests. Tons of space to lounge, everything you need to live for however long you want to stay. Few blocks from the beach and the famous 5th Ave. Tons of restaurants, stores and amenities close by. Highly recommend a stay here.

Perfect getaway

This was our first visit to the region without staying at an all-inclusive resort, but it won’t be our last! Victor was a gracious and attentive host. The property was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. We were able to easily and safely walk anywhere in Playa that we wanted to go. The small private pool was especially nice for relaxing and cooling off on a hot summer day. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect Place in Playa

This place was amazing and not just for its value. It really had everything you need for a place away from home. Don't know where to start! The location is perfect, 5 minute walk from La Quinta and 8 minute walk to the beach. It comes equipped with everything you could possibly need from beach equipment to all the cooking tools. The house is in a gated neighbourhood and you really feel safe. Victor, the host, lives on the ground floor and ready to help at any time. The best part though is the large and completely private patio with the plunge pool. We had both breakfast and lunge on the patio. The back of the patio overlooks a park which is the centre of this gated neighbourhood. We will be back!!

Wonderful relaxing place

Exactly as described-charming penthouse! Nice to have the soaker pool to cool off in. Also appreciate the beach umbrella and chairs. Enjoyed just relaxing under the pergola. Lovely neighborhood. Close to everything: beach entrance at the end of the boulevard. We preferred grocery shopping at the store on 30th which is closer and less expensive than the new one on 10th. Lots of great authentic restaurants close by on 30th. Our favourite was Birria! We had one little issue with the A/C unit that Victor was prompt to reply and take care of. We enjoyed our stay.

We had the pleasure of renting this unit from Victor for two weeks while staying in Playa Del Carmen. Our stay at this unit was both comfortable and safe. Victor was a generous host, very reliable and prompt to meet our needs. The unit offered all of the basics to live while in Playa plus a lot of extras that made our stay even more pleasurable. Even though this unit is not new and modern, it checked alot of our boxes when it came to size, cleanliness and location. The outdoor space is very large and private allowing us to spend some time in our surroundings and enjoy the warm evenings at home. We will definitely consider renting from Victor again next year.

Great Location

Condo in a Gated Neighborhood. The Condo is big with a bedroom and a kitchen with a big hallway in the middle, with chairs and umbrellas. It has all amenities and 5th street is about 2 blocks away. We used the stove and microwave to make breakfast. Used the pool after a hot walk back. Stay on Calle 38 and there is great ambiance restaurants with a jungle feel and good food and beer. Supermarket Chedraui is around the corner and very clean. They have everything you need, plus they cook food to eat there or take home. We ate the shrimp ceviche, shrimp tostadas and guacamole. We also got a ribeye and they cook it for you there with vegetables or fries. Victor was a great host.
