"Absolutely loved this place! Our room was stunning, the staff was wonderful, and had such a great selection of little snacks. I can’t wait for another opportunity to stay here! "

"We love the location and ambiance of our room.
Our stay was short but sweet! We ate at the Black Trumpet, Great food and service. Downtown Portsmouth has great restaurants and shopping as well. A must stop when you’re in the area. "

Residence Inn by Marriott Portsmouth Downtown/ Waterfront
10/10 Excellent
"We love the Residence Inn, and have been staying here for years. Unfortunately, the big parking lot next to the hotel is being redeveloped. You have to use valet parking now, and the price for parking went up from $30 to $45 a night. Some of the ease with which you could arrive and stay here is lost. Obviously, there is also a big construction site in front of your window. Let‘s see how this turns out in the next two years."
