"We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.

"Michael was a great host advising on places to eat and finding our bearings.The room was very clean and comfortable with fresh milk and filtered water in the fridge which was most welcome.The Braemar is very well located for the town minutes from restaurants pubs ect and short walk to the prom.Great stay would return thank-you"
