“A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.”

“We had a great stay at Hotel Casa Alquimia. The staff was fantastic. The hotel itself was historic and decorated artfully. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hotel is well located in the historic center of Quito. All the main squares, churches and museums were within easy walking distance. It was easy to get a cab or the Metro to go further. The street out front was lively (and quite noisy) during the day. We would definitely, happily, stay there again. ”

I had a room with two beds, though I only needed one and it had SO much space. “The location is good and near to the attraction points. The front desk people is nice and very helpful. When we left in early morning to the airport (around 6:00am), they prepared take away breakfast for us even it's just simple fruit, biscuit and drink. We felt very warm and the service is over 5 stars hotel. We recommend to all if you're going to Quito.”

“Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury.”
