"This flat is in close proximity to the lakes and worked well for our young family (2 adults + 2 children). The flat was very clean and functional. I read the other reviews regarding the small size of the flat and factored this in. "We reserved this property and paid for it in April for our stay mid June. We reached out to the owner several times with no response regarding our check in details. We arrived at the property at check in time to find that the house is a permanent residence and not rented out as a vacation rental. We had to find last minute lodging for 6 people. "

"Easy to get to Plitvicka but realize there aren’t enough electrical outlets to comfortably use multiple devices. Neighbors in adjoining suite had an infant that cried the entire time including all night - thin walls"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house and garden were lovely and we enjoyed the hot tub, especially on some of the cooler days. The area is beautiful and incredibly green and lush compared with the coast. Vedran was very helpful with suggestions as to what to do in the area - we thoroughly enjoyed our canoe trip and a visit to the bear sanctuary. Plitvice Lakes were stunning but very busy. I would recommend this house to anyone who enjoys being away from the crowds."

"Spacious country house. Great facilities including strong A/C, fridge, hob, oven and washing machine. But, please prepare your own washing detergent, shower toiletries. No shops nearby and be prepared for long walks for meals if you are not driving. Overall a nice stay."

"A delightful stay in a property surrounded by Alpine meadows with lots of birds, butterflies and wild flowers. The house was perfect as a base to explore the Lake District and my wife fell in love with the swing seat. Very close to the park entrance and with a decent sized supermarket nearby. "

"We had a great 1 night stay here. The room and bathroom were both very spacious. We didn’t spend much time in the room, as we were visiting the lakes. The property is about a 15 minute drive from entrance 1 to the lakes, but don’t miss the opportunity to use entrance 3, a 5 minute drive from the property. We checked out and drove to this entrance at about 9am and got parked right outside. We had already bought our tickets online. If we were going to visit the lakes again, we’d definitely stay here."
