「Family of 4 stayed here August 2025. The room was excellent, just be aware I don’t think there is an elevator (I may be wrong). The character of the building with Byzantine-era walls was outstanding. Good breakfast. EXCELLENT location for Old Town Plovdiv. Staff was super-helpful with sorting parking. 「A last minute booking. Communication was excellent and the owner let us park and check in early. We enjoyed a coffee at the cafe next door whilst they finished preparing our room. The owner greeted us and spent time showing us the best walking route to take, to see the wonderful town of Plovdiv. The hotel is on the doorstep of the beautiful old town. Breakfast was a very tasty typical Bulgarian breakfast served to your table. We loved our overnight stay and would recommend. 」

「Absolutely wonderful hotel. Morden, a lot of natural light, very good restaurant right next to the hotel. Breakfast is fantastic. Stuff is nice, respectful and helpful. Beds are comfy, mattress are firm. This hotel is truly great!」

「It is listed as being located in downtown Plovdiv, but unfortunately, it is actually about a 25-minute walk from the city center. In front of the hotel, there are several buildings that are falling apart, which makes the view from the windows quite unpleasant. The rooms at the back of the building are very dark and receive no sunlight at all. 」
