We have stayed here multiple times and have been very pleased. This time they put us in one of the rooms that haven’t been updated yet. It wasn’t terrible but the rooms that have been updated are a lot nicer and cleaner

The people in the front desk had a friendly service towards me and my boyfriend. The room and the bathroom that me and my boyfriend stay was clean and really organized when we have walked in there.

Cheap and friendly but smells not worth it

Pros: friendly staff, let me check in early. Quiet room never heard any outside noise. Bed was comfy. Cheap Cons: the water was rusty and smelly, towels were stained rust color. Outside grounds are not well taken care of. Chicken farms close by make the outside air smell horrible most days. Outdoor pool looks to be closed for the last few years so pictures not acurate.

Clean quiet room with new furnishings Good Service

I was given a quiet room in the back away from the highway, The room was quiet with all new furniture as they are renovating the entire property. I was very pleased. However hard to find as the sign was Not illuminated, either burnt out or not on. I will stay here again.

Advertised that they had a pool but it was closed. One of the reasons we booked there was for the pool. Had to ring the doorbell to get on the lobby and sometimes nobody came. Needs a coffee maker in the rooms. It was comfortable and clean

Not fancy but no complaints.

Nothing fancy but it was a reasonably priced alternative when there was no hotel anywhere on Chincoteague. AC worked fine, good hot water for the shower though maybe it was a little weak, and the pool was nice. I like that the room had a window that could open as it was not a super hot night and sometimes I get sick of air conditioning and just want some regular fresh air. I arrived a little bit before checking time and was allowed to check in with that any hassle which was nice. No complaints really.

The bed was good. The breakfast was nice. The motel front desk guy was pleasant. BUT.... Every screen in the motel had been broken in to. The steps to the second floor were cracked up and missing big chunks of concrete. Each room had a fuzzy throw for a comforter, wrinkled sheets and pillows. Pool was 9 feet deep but the gate was locked. On the site it said pet friendly but when we got there the sign said No pets.

The building itself had construction areas that were unfinished. Every room had buckets outside of them catching water from the A/C units. The lamps were dim, the rug sticky. No ice machine but if you go to the front desk they will bring you a bag of ice, solidified into a block. When I arrived, the A/C was not on and my room was 90 degrees. I turned it on and it took about 2 hours to cook down. The A/C was so loud that I could not hear my phone or the TV over the din and it woke me every time it roared on during the night. This motel feels neglected and on the verge of collapse. I needed a simple, clean, safe motel to break up a long drive. I used to count on Motel 6 to provide that but this is my second rather awful experience with this chain. I do not think Expedia should list it as a good option.

Nice affordable place to stay for a visit to Chinc

This motel looked like it had recently been renovated. The rooms were very clean and the staff was efficient and courteous. The air conditioning was also quiet. Easy drive to Chincoteague.
