Holman Estate is certainly one of the Hunter Valley's best known properties with a style, location and views that are hard to beat. Offering executive accommodation for up to 12 guests, generous living spaces, fabulous open fireplace, billiard room and views from all sides across the vineyards to Hunter Valley Gardens and beyond to the Brokenback Range, Holman Estate is undoubtedly a great choice when visiting Wine Country.
Unwind at Holman Estate with the following bedding configuration:

Bedroom 2 - Queen bed
Bedroom 3 - Queen bed
Bedroom 4 - Twin share
Billiard room - 2 Queen sofa beds (available upon request)
Stroll through the working vineyard, visit the nearby well-known cellar doors and dine at one or more of Pokolbin's exciting restaurants or simply relax soaking up the views with a glass of local Hunter wine. Holman Estate offers peace and serenity with the added bonus of a fantastic central location, perfect for touring, concerts and lovers of relaxation.

Convenient central location, rural feel

Perfect house for a family get together. We were 3 families (12 people), ages 12-adult. There was space for everyone to come together and be apart 😉. Away from other properties, but very conveniently located. Views from across the lawns, complete with lounging kangaroos, over the vineyards. House well stocked with all essentials, the fireplace made it cosy in the evenings. Scarborough wine tasting on the doorstep, cycle round the vineyards, short drive to all activities such as Segway, horse-riding, escape/ smash room, restaurants and other vineyards. This was our second stay. Once during a heatwave and this time during Autumn. The property has worked well for us both times.

Family stay for parents of the bride!

Such a retreat and relaxing place for the parents and grandparents of the bride to be to stay. Amazed with the seclusion, serenity and beauty of the property and surrounding vineyards. We will be back!!

Absolutely beautiful house and location

This is one amazing property! I don't believe that the online photos do the property justice. The location is spot on, the house has charm as well as everything you need for a fabulous stay. The wrap around veranda's are perfect for morning coffee & afternoon wines. It was lovely watching kangaroos wonder up to & around the house while we sat on the veranda. All bedding & towels were 5 star standard. There were loads of little extras that made the stay special, the coffee machine & billiard tables being a big hit. We could have stayed a week & not left the property as the surrounding and house are so superb. We will definitely come back to this property again.

A Grand old style house we christened "Le Chateaux" for our big family get together. Set amongst the vines, a rustic abode for traversing the vineyards.

Beautiful location

Nice “country” style property . Good lounge open kitchen “space” . Only one bedroom with ensuite , bathrooms rather dated but good hot water and pressure , beds were poor and need updated although no one complained because of the fabulous setting . Overall impression of the Hunter accommodation is that it is way overpriced - these are South of France prices mid-season . But we really enjoyed our stay .
