Below expectations
Pros
In a good position on the pinewalk - with a great view.
Cons
During the stay(2 weeks)there was a persistant damp smelll throughout the apartment. An automatic air freshner was in operation all the time- to no avail.
The property manager said this was due to the wind !!
The damp patches around the house had been painted over badly. This was apparent as the wall paint is blistering in numerous places. In some places peeling off revealing mould.
Privacy - you have none - sitting out on the patio, you are in the constant glare of the public passing on the pinewalk.
Some people actually stopping and staring in !! Some low level screening would stop this - as other properties have done.
The property is tired and in need of refreshing. Numerous minor repairs are required throughout the property . Not least the patio umbrella- this is torn and broken.
Pest control- be prepared for ants and cockroaches.
All in all a nice visit to Pollensa , unfortunately the apartment fell well short of expectations considering the cost (almost 6k) - poor value for money.
