The apartment has a huge balcony overlooking the beach just across the road. The views are incredible; the sunrise especially is beautiful. The balcony has some ugly netting wrapped around it which doesn’t look very attractive. The apartment is well equipped. It’s on the main promenade with easy access to shops restaurants and a gorgeous sandy beach. It’s rather dated, some of the doors squeak like mad, some lights don’t work, bulbs missing etc. It could be cleaner; the sofa covers were dirty and the cutlery & crockery needed a wash before we used it. However it’s spacious with 2 bathrooms (note, the taps in the showers are reversed ie hot is on the right). And the bedroom at the front can be noisy at night for a while but quietens down. We had noisy neighbours for a couple of nights but again it didn’t last too long. Apartment is just above a super Indian restaurant but it closes pretty early and there’s no late night noise from it (at least in October when we were there). Overall the location and views make up for some of the minor issues, although they could be easily sorted out. Our host John was very helpful sorting us out with the tap issue and booking a taxi for our return.
