10-Day Cycling Tour

Home base for a 10 days cycling on the northern half of the island. Pollenca and this home make for a great home base for all the must do rides. Everything is out the front door. Would recommend having a car for your stay here. The larger grocery stores are not within walking distance. Sunday is the big farmer's market in down, don't miss it! They recommend not drinking the tap water in the area, as most of the homes have wells. Stocking up on water is a chore. A point of use filter/faucet would be a wonderful addition to this home and really simplify things. The kitchen is well stocked. As with any rental, I pack a knife sharpener. This home did have two brand new ones that were fantastic, but all the others wouldn't cut a tomato. Since were were there for more than a week, the cleaning service came to clean up an swap towels. They did not change the bedding which would have been nice. Kitchen towels were limited to two which meant we were constantly hanging them outside to dry. The Kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking supplies we needed. Plenty of dishware, and glasses for cocktails for sangria, cocktails, and wine. A Nescafe machin and drip coffee machine were available as well as an electric hot water kettle. The drip machine is small and takes a LONG time. We ended up using it as a pour over to get six people properly caffeinated. Hot tub and pool got a lot of use. A table tennis table was also great. Beautiful yard, great home.
