A beautiful villa from pool to the stunning views

We recently stayed at this magnificent villa for a week with its incredible atmosphere and it's breathtaking views across the valley to Alcudia. Every morning waking up to that amazing scenery from your terrace is unforgettable and watching the sun go down behind the mountains every evening is priceless. Don't be put off by how secluded the villa is, yes we needed a rental car but we were able to enjoy the peaceful Mallorcan countryside but still only a ten minute drive from Alcudia or Pollensa with all the restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets etc we needed. Previous visitors have said the road to the villa is rough and bumpy but it has been newly relaid and we didn't have any access issues. We stayed as a family and found the villa just as the photos on the website with plenty of spaces to be together or find a quiet corner to read in peace. The table tennis and billiard table was a bonus. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and definitely plan to return. Nothing, we were very happy with our stay

Summer stay at Hidden Retreat

The Villa is located in a beautiful, secluded spot and has everything you need for a family holiday. It is light and airy with plenty of space internally. It has a large pool which was really warm with good sun loungers and parasols. The driveway to the villa was absolutely no problem even without a 4x4. But the approach is a bit overgrown. With young children in mind, there are plenty of steps internally and externally, the garden is not flat, all of which is as shown in the photos. The banister and rails up the internal staircase are not ideal for young children. Kitchen is fairly basic but has all you need. 2 large fridge freezers. DW was quickly replaced during our stay as was not working properly, as was a bedroom AC unit. Overall a very enjoyable time was had by all and the agent, Katja was excellent in every way. Many thanks for looking after us so well.

Fantastic views, great outdoor area with the swimming pool, barbaque area etc. Somewhat dated house, furniture and appliances, but clean and tidy, and everything working well. Great space in all bedrooms and bathrooms. All in all very good value for money for an autumn stay.

Stuning Villa highly recomended!!!!

We were positively surprised of the nice outdoor area surrounding the house. The cleaning service was perfect and general location was also great (alcudia/pt. pollensa). There are restrictions on the airconditioning so be sure to ask for full control of that beforehand. We have had a great time at this property.

Idylic Villa

This is one of the rare houses which is more beautifull in reality than on the pictures. The organisation was really nice - we had a very warm welcome and eveything went Perfect. The location is close to Pollenca, Puerto Pollenca and there is a lot of beautifull things to see in the close surrounding. Very reccomendable.

Golden days

The overall view of the property was that it was as seen on the site. The kitchen could do with updating but otherwise a comfortable villa. The swimming pool was superb as was all the outside area. The family enjoyed the time spent in the villa. One negative was the approaching road as the hedges were overgrown and we were anxious about scratches on our hire cars and the surface was very rough in parts. We did encounter some electric problems but cannot thank the agent enough for the way he resolved the problem.

Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in der Finca verbracht. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und es ist gut, dass man von einem Mitarbeiter der Vermieter direkt zum Haus geführt wird, weil es versteckt liegt. Die Finca ist genau wie auf den Fotos und dem Filmchen. Die Zimmer im Obergeschoss sind 3 Doppelbett-Zimmer und 1 4-Bett-Zimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad mit Dusche. Im Erdgeschoss ist das große Foyer mit Wohnsofalandschaft und Esstisch und einem Doppelbettzimmer mit Bad ohne Dusche und einem weiteren Einzelbett (eher im Stil von einem Mini-Dienstbotenzimmer) hinter der Küche mit eigenem Bad mit Dusche. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Der Garten ist wunderschön, auf der Terrasse ist ein überdachter Essbereich mit gemauertem Grill sowie ein Loungebereich. Um den Pool sind mehrere Liegebetten und auch fixe Sonnenschirme aus Stroh. Man sieht keine direkten Nachbarn und hört nur diverse Tiere der Nachbarschaft (Schafe, Ziegen, Pfau (?!)..). Wir waren scheinbar die ersten Kunden in der neuen Saison und hatten ein paar Stolperer zu Beginn: das Wasser im Badezimmer war zu kalt, bei den Mischbatterien kam stoßweise kaltes oder leicht warmes Wasser (eine Art Kneipp-Dusche) und ein paar Lampen waren defekt. Diese Mängel wurden aber prompt behoben. Der Pool wurde täglich (unauffällig) gecheckt. Jeder Handwerker wurde vorher per WhatsApp angekündigt. Der nächste Supermarkt liegt ca. 5 Autominuten entfernt in Pollensa. Ca. 40 min zu Flughafen. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen! In der Küche: die Saftpresse ist leider nicht vollständig und ein paar kleine Schüsseln (für Müsli,..) und kleine Gläser (für Kinder) fehlen meiner Meinung nach.

Spacious villa with fabulous views

This villa was perfect for our family group ranging in age from 79 to 9! The views from the terrace and front balconies are spectacular and well worth the (somewhat bumpy) journey up. Perhaps the owner could pay a little attention to the driveway? The location is perfect for exploring Pollenca, Port de Pollenca (our favourite) and Alcudia. We also discovered some beautiful beaches nearby and if you are in to golf then the Alcanada course is fabulous. Our youngest son loved feeding the cats which would visit us every day. Overall a wonderful house which suited us perfectly. Lenka and Joan at Mallorca Holiday Properties could not have been more helpful and definitely made the stay more enjoyable with their recommendations, pre-arrival information and smooth check in service.

Great place to relax

Really enjoyed our stay here, huge pool and very quiet area. 15 minutes to Pollensa and to Alcudia by car. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Lots of ants on the first few days but soon disappeared. Cost of electric for 8 days was 63 euro and that was with use of the air conditioning.

a cosy week in hidden retreat has finished!

we spent a week with different generations of our 12-person family in the hidden retreat. the house is generously built, the rooms are furnished on average. the terrace is very beautifully designed. the furniture here is also a bit old. the pool, garden and location are great! we only have to complain about the bad condition of the way on the last 500 - 750 meters. in the kitchen there are no wine glasses and a juice blender is broken. in the bathrooms it would be nice to have a few more shelves. communication with joan was very good. all questions were answered quickly. unfortunately, a flickering exterior light was not repaired until the end - this was a bit annoying. the location is excellent if you want it to be quiet. the house is about 20 minutes drive from pollenca, port de pollenca and alcudia. a very good price-performance ratio for a very nice finca in the north of mallorca. ideal for bike excursions to the countryside around pollenca, alcudia and arta.

Fantastic family holiday location

Our family had a wonderful stay at Hidden Retreat. The spacious villa was comfortable and well equipped. The outside eating and lounging areas were brilliant and the 15 metre pool a huge success with all generations! Beautiful views of the mountains and countryside and close to Pollenca and the sea. Our family enjoyed a truly memorable holiday.

Sehr schönes Objekt. Gut für mehrere Couples geeignet, da weitläufig. Bäder etwas antiquarisch und z.T. mit wenig Ablage. Duschvorhänge : wenn schon, dann bitte frisch gewaschen und nicht verpilzt. Summa: empfehlenswert.

Wunderschöne Finka ruhig und doch zentral

Die Finka liegt sehr schön am Berg, ruhig und mit toller Aussicht die Ausstattung ist zwar älter aber verleiht dem ganzen einen tollen Charme. Wir waren mit 9 Personen zwischen 25&30 für 6 Nächte dort. Bei Fragen oder Problemen stand Juan sofort mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wirklich ein klasse Service. Man sollte sich aber Bewusstsein, dass der Weg zur Finka zum Teil aus engen unbefestigten Straßen besteht. Ein Auto ist eigentlich unverzichtbar um Einkäufe zu erledigen, am besten ein höheres. Hidden Retreat - wirklich "very hidden"

Wir als Familie (Opa, Oma, 2 Elternpaare und 4 Kinder) haben den Aufenthalt in der Finca wirklich sehr genossen. Ein bezauberndes Haus mit viel Platz, gemütlich eingerichtet. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts. Die Küche und der Essplatz waren gut bestückt und einer Selbstversorgung (wir haben oft zusammen gekocht) stand nichts im Wege. Das Haus liegt ganz versteckt - aber Erholung pur. Und der Pool - ein Traum. Das Wetter war die ersten Tage nicht gut - es war sehr kalt - und darauf sind die Häuser auf Mallorca nicht eingestellt. Wir würden es wieder buchen.....

Eine schöne Finka mit tollem Pool

Uns hat es im Hidden Retreat gut gefallen. Die Finka liegt zwischen Polleca und Alcudia, so dass man beide Städte gut erreicht. Die Zufahrt ist etwas holprig, aber dafür liegt die Villa landschaftlich toll, man hat einen schönen Blick und viel Ruhe. Die Gartenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool groß, sehr sauber und abends schön beleuchtet. Im Haus gibt es 4 Doppelzimmer (2 davon mit französischem 1,40 m Bett), ein 3 Bett Zimmer und ein (kleines) Einzelzimmer. Der Wohnraum ist sehr geräumig, wir hatten mit 10 Erwachsenen genug Platz. Als kleiner Kritikpunkt würde ich sagen, dass es insgesamt etwas sauberer sein könnte und man im Erdgeschoss mit Ameisen rechnen muss. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Außerdem gibt es auch eine Waschmaschine, Tischtennisschläger, Spiele und Bücher. Der Service ist hervorragen. Joan hat immer sofort sein Möglichstes getan, um jegliche Probleme zu lösen und war stets sehr freundlich. Ich würde wieder buchen.

Tolles Haus in sehr ruhiger Umgebung.

Sehr gute Unterkunft mit grossem Erholungspotential und grosszügigem Umschwung. Ruhige Lage, mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Viele nützliche Unterlagen mit Tipps und Empfehlungen vorhanden. Check-in mit Schlüsselsafe. Infos und Rückmeldungen vom Vermieter sehr hilfreich und schnell. Die Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Nos alojamos 11 personas (3 niños). Nos encantó. Tranquilidad 100%. El personal muy amable. Tuvimos un pequeño problema con la luz y nos lo solucionaron al momento. Beautiful villa - fantastic time

We loved our stay at "the hidden retreat" - it made a fantastic location for a family holiday. The villa is a large, stunning property set just a few minutes from Pollenca and Alcudia. It's very much in the wilderness and very quiet and peaceful. We met with Alvaro, who took us to the property and explained the operation of the house - we were immediately blown away by the property - the parts you can't see in these photos like the courtyard and the overall setting of the villa. We arrived in the dark and Alvaro was keen to point out that the "wow" from the villa would not be apparent until the morning and he was absolutely correct - the view from the balconies is simply stunning. The Villa is well appointed and comfortable with Air-con in all the bedrooms - we had plenty of room and the villa would easily swallow a group of two families in comfort. The outdoor areas are excellent for relaxing outdoors or for cooking and eating together. The pool was fantastic and used every day by the whole family. There is a good sunbathing area in the garden with loungers and some shade / umbrellas if you need them. On top of this - we were very well looked after by Alvaro and the property management company who were attentive and considerate. I really hope we can return in the near future because it made for a fabulous holiday.

Stunning villa and location

The villa is stunning with a great specification and all modern gadgets. The location near the beach means it is only a short walk so great for families. The villa was clean and excellently maintained. The managing company were exceptional and were always on hand to help or answer any queries. Beware the pool is cold but a welcome refresher when it's hot. The only down side was the location if you want to eat out at restaurants as this is a fair walk but the modern BBQ more than makes up for this if eating in. I would highly recommend.

Fabulous family holiday in a beautiful finca

Hidden Retreat is a beautiful finca with amazing views of the surrounding countryside and the majestic Sierra Tramuntana. The description of the property was very accurate, it really is a 'hidden retreat' and you are out in the country, which is wonderful. Hidden Retreat is clean and beautifully maintained, it has a lovely 'moorish' atmosphere with a courtyard and a variety of seating areas. It is spacious and very relaxing. Alvaro and his team provide an excellent customer service and looked after us very well, always being available to answer questions and provide information. The pool is amazing! We all enjoyed swimming and having fun, especially my granddaughters. On the last night we enjoyed a late swim in the moonlight with the coloured pool lights, very magical! We visited Pollenca, Puerto Pollenca, Formentor, Alcudia, which we enjoyed but most of all we liked to relax, eat, swim, and socialise at the Hidden Retreat. We would recommend this property for a large family or two or three families who like being out in the country and 'away from it all'.

Great place to spend unforgettable holidays!

As a group of ten German people – nine adults and one teenager aged 15 – we very much enjoyed one week Easter holiday at this beautiful property. The property: The wonderful and very spacious house corresponds to the given description and had enough space inside and outside for all of us. Due to the good weather, we were able to enjoy the nice chill-out lounge as well as the very clean pool and the terrace outside. There is sufficient equipment to prepare and enjoy the common meals and the barbecue on the terrace worked perfectly. Furthermore, we were very pleased to find a greater choice of towels for showering and for the pool in the rooms. The whole fitting met our expectations. The surrounding: There is only a small bumpy gravel road to the house but one gets very quickly used to it as this kind of street is quite usual for this area. Arriving at the house, you are fully compensated by the great scenic view: You have a fantastic view on a part of the Tramuntana Mountain and down to Alcudia and parts of the Pt. Pollenca cove. We very much enjoyed the pleasant evenings on the terrace with a magnificent view to the illuminated coast. The silence of this Finca is broken only by the birdsong and an occasional but faraway dog’s barking which contributes to the idyllic atmosphere. Pollenca, Port Pollenca and Alcudia can be reached by car within 10 minutes and offer a sufficient range of supermarkets and nice restaurants for all requirements. The service: Fantastic! All the way from the planning to the arrival, via the stay and up to the departure we were served and advised outstandingly. All our questions and notations by mail, by phone and via WhatsApp were answered immediately or within one day the latest. The whole “Mallorca Holiday Properties“ team around Juan Etura has excellently managed the task to provide us a relaxing and unforgettable holiday. Special thanks to Alvaro who was always immediately on hand with kindness and patience for all matters. We highly recommend this property if you appreciate an exclusive, quiet and secluded location surrounded by nature with excellent service.

Familienurlaub

Wir (10 Personen vom Baby bis Großmama) haben im Mai eine tolle Woche in dieser phantastischen Finca verbracht und jede Minute genossen. Die Lage ist toll und Oksana war eine stets kompetente Ansprechpartnerin für alle Fragen und Wünsche.
