Duck Cove Inn
10/10 Excellent
"The couple who run the place are the nicest people."
Brookside Coastal Estate | Luxury Cape Breton Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"Our family had a wonderful stay at Brookside. The cottage is clean and spacious, with beautiful light. The beach is a short walk away, and was wonderful for an early morning walk and evening swim. The screened porch was a wonderful spot to drink a coffee and listen to the brook babbling nearby. We ate at some delicious local restaurants and enjoyed many local attractions. Will definitely return every summer!"
Margaree-a-ville Cottage
10/10 Excellent
"What an incredible place! We arrived a little early, but Gus and Gert were there to greet us with a warm, friendly welcome. The house itself is spacious - perfect for our family of four - and absolutely spotless. There’s even a driving range with a one‑hole golf setup outside for practicing your swing. On top of all that, the location in the Margaree Valley is ideal for exploring beautiful beaches, the Cabot Trail, Cheticamp for whale excursions, and the Skyline Trail."
Newly renovated beachfront home across from Cabot Links Golf Course

Potter's Cottage on Beautiful property in Lovely Margaree Valley

"Had a great stay here. Internet was out first couple of days but not a big deal as the owners left a list of things to do and see.We had everything we needed.Very nice place."
Cajun Cedar Log Cottages

NEW! Location, Charm, Best Value in Inverness!
8/10 Good
"Tidy and spacious 3 bedroom home in an excellent location. Would stay again."
Large, private house with ocean views!
10/10 Excellent
"Despite having seven very large bedrooms, the house still had a large open common area which lead to many enjoyable meals without being crowded at all. We were a group of 12 so no small feat! The grounds were also amazing and had complete privacy. The property included an excellent BBQ which was put to good use. The house also had Bell Fibe, so very fast WIFI! The only minor comment is that the kitchen faucet seems to have a issue with the aerator causing low water flow unless you select the spray which did have decent water flow. So overall this excellent place for a large group and well worth the price in our opinion."
Beautiful Log Cabin close to beaches/Golf & Cabot Trail
10/10 Excellent
"What a great spot for a family vacation! Four families consisting of 8 adults and 4 kids (3 teenagers and one 3.5 year old) stayed for 3 nights and we had more space than we knew what to do with. We were able to spread out and be comfortable for our entire stay. Inside, there was plenty to do- although we would have liked more to do outside for the kids (play structure, swing set etc). We visited Inverness Beach, Margaree Fish Hatchery, Margaree Harbour Beach and had a day trip to Cheticamp/ part of the National Park and nothing seemed far away. The Dancing Goat is a great coffee spot to check out, too! This lodge had everything you would ever need to feel comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked (right down to the measuring cups), the rooms are cozy with lots of extra pillows/ blankets etc available, if needed. The fireplace is beautiful, although we didn’t light it in July when we visited :). The pool table was a hit!Our host was great to get back promptly with the few questions we did have, but overall the process of getting in and settling in was very easy. We hope to get back in the future!"
