We enjoyed this stay very much. It was quite clean and comfortable. We needed an extra night and instead of charging us extra they readjusted our quote. We didn’t need anything the house is stocked! Pomeroy is a nice quiet retreat with fishing close by and I would recommend staying right in town. We say deer every evening next to this house. Right out the window. Highly recommended. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We will back.

Relaxing week

I was able to take week to relaxed AND keep working from from home. Easy walks to main street for breakfast or lunch. Close to the food Mart and close to the park to let little ones run off energy.

Short hunting trip and Pomeroy

Everything was absolutely great just a little confusion checking in without any instructions and then checking out with also no instructions hopefully we cleaned up and did what we needed to do bye starting the dishwasher and washing machine pulling all the bedding and dirty stuff and getting it to the laundry room

Familiar comfort

We really enjoyed our stay. I’ve been bringing family members to Pomeroy off and on over the last 20 years and was so glad to find a this place in town for our stay this time. Great neighborhood! We were here for Homecoming weekend and could walk down to the football field. We were also a short walk from the Historic Main St area and enjoyed breakfast at the newer restaurant (since my last visit) The Bakers Table. Recommend the biscuits and gravy! The check-in process was smooth and communication with our hosts was easy and quick each time. The house is like all other homes I’ve been into in Pomeroy with it’s built in cupboards and unique way of dealing with the massive hole left in the dining room floor once the heating systems grate has been removed. I loved it! My 70+ mother said it felt so familiar it was immediately comfortable. Everything was clean and easy to find. Although, be sure to look in every cupboard. I must’ve missed a cupboard because I didn’t spot any dishwasher or washing up soap, so the few dishes we did use were left in the dishwasher but not cleaned up and I felt bad about that. However, if you do look in cupboards, there are fun board games to be found and my son (5) even found a favorite “secret room” in one of the bedrooms. It was the closet, but was so fun to go exploring. We definitely want to book this place when we come back through Pomeroy again!!
