We loved the beautiful covered terrace and the many flowers around the house. Very good matresses in the beds. The owners are extremly friendly, hospitable, helpful and generous. The service from A home in Madeira is perfect. As we were cooking a lot, a dishwasher would have been very helpful.

Beautiful Views

It was a nice place with beautiful views . Near a gas station , a grocery store near a couple of restaurants.. Best of all my Mom’s house was down the hill from the Airbnb . We flew from Phoenix Az to see family there in Madeira . With a few suggestions it’s a good place to stay and would do so again …

Madeira im Februar

Gut: Lage des Hauses für Ausflüge in die Berge und Küste (Mietwagen auf jeden Fall notwendig); einfache, aber ausreichende & vernünftige Ausstattung; schöne Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer - Supermärkte und Bars/Restaurants in der Nähe. Schlecht: Haus hat keine Heizung (war für uns in der Beschreibung nicht erkennbar) - im Sommer kein Thema, aber jetzt im Februar bei Nachttemperaturen von 12 Grad eher frisch. Vermieter hat dann noch 2 Radiotoren zur Verfügung gestellt - damit konnten wir Küche und Wohnzimmer heizen. Im Bad gibt es keine Steckdose.Fazit: wir würden wiederkommen, aber nur von April bis Oktober, wenn das Leben eher draußen und weniger im Haus stattfindet. Dann freut man sich auch über die um 3-4 Grad niedrigeren Temperaturen zur Küste.
