「To sum it up: perfect stay. Our house was clean, comfy and the pool a delight. Our host took very good care on us and the first breakfast was included rounding up our vacation. There was some confusing on our behalf, since Expedia noted to get a mail prior to our arrival for access - then we learned that our host is on site already.」

「This was our favorite place on our trip to the Azores. Harald was very welcoming, and the house itself was immaculate, well equipped and in a nice quiet location. There was even a marked walking trail down to Sao Roque within a few blocks of the house.」

「The house was beautiful and well furnished. Adelina was a wonderful host who provided us with fresh fruit and eggs during our stay. She also helped us locate a rental car and a local health clinic when we needed them. I would strongly recommend Cais do Pico to anyone staying in the area.」

「The house was comfortable. The gentleman living in the adjacent home was very gracious, helpful and welcoming. The house is as listed. It is a short walk to the ocean. The view of the volcano, Pico, is magnificent. The house is about 15 minutes driving from the airport, 15-20 minutes from a supermarket, and 20-25 minutes from the ferry in Magdalena. 「Casa Santana is relatively recently renovated traditional stone house with beautiful views out over the sea and the island of Sao Jorge and easy access to some lovely walks including one along the coast. 「We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay, using the house as a base to climb Mt Pico, enjoy a whale watch and a wine tour. The host was very helpful with advice and helped arrange the wine tour and driver. The view out the back is beyond gorgeous and it’s a perfect deck to eat all your meals.」
